I have been with my fiancé for almost 7 years, engaged about 6 months. I’ve always wanted to get married and have a lovely wedding and celebration with my friends and family, but I became disabled in 2020 and with the state of the country, we cannot afford to get married as I would lose my disability. I’m crushed to say the least, but I’ve had a few friends bring up a commitment ceremony as an option and would love to hear other people’s experiences/opinions on it?
I want to celebrate love and the life commitment of me and my partner but don’t want everyone to think it’s a waste or not as legitimate… idk. Please help 🥲

Hello everyone!! I’ve been vegetarian for about a year now and I’m ready to start incorporating more beans into my diet. I have had a very rocky relationship with food throughout my life and some textures can be hard for me as well. So between those two things, I struggled with most bean for most of my life.

Recently, my brother found a really good vegetarian chili recipe (it included black beans which for some reason freak me out the most.) and I DEVOURED it. Usually even knowing beans are in things freaks me out, but this was a huge step!

I’d love to hear your favorite recipes that incorporate beans so I can continue to work through this!

Hello! I’m going to be volunteering with a local charity in a few weeks and the event is minions themed. It’s only about an hour long and there are about 15 kids, but there are other things going on that will pull everyone together for cupcakes and stuff and I won’t have much time🥲

Do any of you have super quick 1-1 1/2 minute ideas? If you have any minions ideas that are quick too, I’d love some suggestions.

A few years ago, I surrendered my license due to health issues from long covid. I am now in a position where I feel comfortable enough to drive again every so often and genuinely need the independence again. I’m 26 and would be getting on my fiancé’s plan. We live in Pennsylvania if that helps. I guess I’m just curious if our insurance would go up significantly if I got my permit and then license again? I want to know what to expect payment wise since I’m on disability and will have to figure out if it is within my budget to have insurance to drive again.

I hope this all makes sense. I’m just a little over whelmed and nervous about how this all works😅
