I don’t really like to dress up anymore and looking for comfy pieces before the sale is over. Basics (everything from tops, bottoms and dresses) that I can wear all the time. I got so many pieces over the past few years that are too stylish and ended up only wearing once.

They are both from Kinn Studio.. really love how they're more on the dainty side. Most of these drop style earrings I've seen are pretty big.
I love how on the first pair, the middle diamond more so sits on the ear and does not dangle. I've read really bad things about Kinn and would rather buy from elsewhere.

Not sure this is the right sub but here goes.
We got engaged early 2023. All our parents are divorced.
My partner’s dad took us out for a super nice dinner and his mom threw us a really nice party overseas with that side of the family. It was super thoughtful. My family said their verbal congrats but didn’t have any celebration. I was pretty down about it but got over it thinking maybe the couple is supposed to throw their own party.
We didn’t throw a party. Since then, my (future) FIL, dad, and mom all were diagnosed with cancer, and my pup diagnosed with heart murmur. Past three years have honestly been hell and back for me. Fortunately, parents are doing well now so now that things are more calm, we decided to do a civil ceremony nearby with just our pup so she can join.
I wasn’t going to tell anyone since we’re not inviting anyone but my partner told his mom so I decided to tell my parents as well. This was their response. I wasn’t expecting much since it was somewhat of a similar reaction when we got engaged. (My whole family really likes him, just to throw out there.) I can’t help but feel incredibly bummed.

Looking into city hall ceremony/photoshoot. We will be driving into the city with my dog and a couple friends who will help watch our dog. Will potentially change outfits and also maybe get a cake. Looking for a place to change that also has a fridge to store the cake/our dog’s dinner. 😅
Any ideas? Should I just get a day use hotel? Not really interested in staying the night.
