My doctor ordered stool test for cyclo but I feel better?

My doctor order a stool test for cyclospora after I had insane GI symptoms all of July. Of course, I could only get in last week and I lowkey feel a lot better? Should i bother taking it? Does anyone know if it can still be detected if I feel fine.

EMDR for PTSD when you feel fine?

Hi everyone, recently I have been curious about EMDR after my friend said it changed her life.

I was semi-diagnosed with PTSD around 5 years ago after a traumatic event (my bf at the time had a mental breakdown, physically assaulted me, sexually assaulted me, and then committed s*icide).

I have not sought any treatment for it and haven't been to therapy since then. Honestly, I really repressed it all and came out of it fine like I genuinely don't feel any negative emotions about it, just neutral. My best friend told me I had a choice to let it define my life or to move on and I just moved on.

I have been kind of curious about exploring this experience though. I don't know, has anyone been in a similar situation? It certainly was traumatic but it isn't really in my conscious psyche right now?

I guess I am curious about if it subconsciously is affecting me? Idk, is EMDR right?

Men, what is your opinion on topless equality?

I am very curious to hear male opinions on topless equality between men and women. Like for example women being able to go topless in spaces where men are free to be topless like the beach or pool. I have been thinking about this a lot recently coming back from Germany to the USA.

This has been asked before in this sub but not many answers. I would really love to hear your genuine and serious opinion, please don't comment if you are just going to say "i like to see boobs hahaha" or "yucky only old women will take their top off". The question is not "do you like boobs" or "what kind of boobs do you want to see on the beach". I am more interested in if you think it should be legal and why or why not. Thank you.

Why don't we make birth and pregnancy easier?

Why has science not focused on making birth and pregnancy easier for women to raise the TFR? Many many women state fear of pregnancy and birth as a major factor in deciding whether or not to have kids. (take a look at r/ fencesitter just to get a small sample).

It seems crazy we can't make birth relatively painless and easy in the age of modern medicine. It also seems crazy that we have made few strides in making pregnancy more low stakes.

Kindergarteners Dream Jobs Observation

I was visiting some kindergarten classrooms the other day and the teachers had pictures of the kids on the wall holding a sign of what they wanted to be when they grew up. For context the school is in an upper middle class, educated, predominantly white town in California.

It was a very cute display for kindergarten "graduation" but something I noticed was that every single boys dream job was being something like a football player, a soccer player, olympic runner, basketball player, etc (only two boys had a normal job, construction worker and shark biologist). However, the girls signs said veterinarian, doctor, teacher, scientist, astronaut, nurse, etc.

I thought this was very interesting and am curious to hear insight from parents into why they think boys choose these jobs versus why girls choose traditional jobs as their dream.

I'm also curious if anyone has seen something different, I saw on twitter a post saying that many of the girls in their child's class wanted to be SAHMs as what they want to be when they grow up.

Help! Google maps always going to photos?

Hi guys, does anyone know how to stop google maps from going to user-photos when dropping the little guy on the map? Mine keeps going to photos instead of the streetview like it used to. Now it always goes to a photo no matter where I drop it. Is there a way to disable going to photos?
