my parents found a texas brown tarantula who was paralyzed by a hawk wasp and gave her to me. how do i rehab her?

inexperienced with spiders, im sorry for any ignorance!!!

i love animals and my parents know that, so when they found a tarantula in the road they decided to give her to me. im pretty sure shes a younger one looking at the size but i could be completely wrong. they said they found her being dragged across the road after she was paralyzed, before she was taken to the wasps burrow, so fortunately i dont think she laid eggs on her.

im trying to research how to take care of her right, and also how to minimize her stress… poor baby must be terrified. i assume all animals are sentient until proven wrong and im trying as hard as i can to make her feel more comfortable. its better to give an animal who doesnt feel sadness comfort than leave an animal who DOES feel sadness without any help, i figure.

ive been watering her by flipping her over and putting water on her mouth with a q tip, and leaving her on a damp paper towel. shes in a well ventilated container in my closet for the dim lighting. im currently trying to assemble a system to keep her warm and damp and comfortable but im 18 and unemployed and i dont have a lot of resources. how often do i need to feed her? what are the best conditions to keep her in and what equipment do i need? i feel like im in over my head. im going out of town for a bit and im trying to find a way i trust my parents can take care of her because i really dont want her to die. poor baby. im sorry i realize this is worded really badly i just woke up. thank you all for the help

my parents found a tarantula who was bitten by a hawk wasp and brought her to me. what do i do?

im sorry if this is badly written im like crying my eyes out over this shit and theres no clear cut answer and i dont know what to do and its driving me insane. i just want another opinion

as the title states my parents found a tarantula (texas brown tarantula) who was bitten by a hawk wasp and paralyzed. i dont believe she laid an egg inside the spider because they said the wasp was dragging her across the road after she got bit back to her burrow and they scared the wasp away before she could take the tarantula in. shes in my kitchen right now in a well ventilated box with some water and i did everything she could to make sure she wasnt stressed but i read it can take MONTHS for them to recover.

this is where im feeling torn. i dont know. i cant leave her to die or i dont want to anyways it feels brutal and devastating and i cant do that to her but i cant imagine being completely paralyzed and spoon fed for months on end. she isnt able to comprehend whats going on so im really anxious shes going to be terrified and stressed the whole time. if thats the better choice i will gladly do everything in my power to help her anything for her but i dont know if thats even the more humane choice.

is a quick euthanasia the middle ground?? or is it awful to kill her??? i tried thinking about what i would do for a human but i dont even know there either. i dont know if i have it in me to end her life even if its the more humane option. just thinking about it makes me want to throw up. her entire life is in my hands and im so fucking scared im going to mess up

im most likely autistic and while i struggle with human empathy i feel so strongly for animals it ruins me and i feel like thats clouding my judgement. im just so fucking devastated and heartbroken beyond words for her i wish i could make her feel better. i cant imagine how terrified she was 💔 i named her amber. i want to be able to remember her somehow. she matters to me

advice on bleaching my eyebrows safely?

hi !!! 🧡 i have very dark brown hair and eyebrows and i plan on bleaching my hair ginger soon. i want to go for a more natural look so i feel like i should do my eyebrows too but im worried about safety + not making my safety conscious parents upset lmao

i hear it can cause eye issues if ANY bleach gets in the eye and i dont want to risk it. i plan on using a lower volume developer or diluting it but still :( what do yall do? im thinking about using swim goggles or something but it looks hella uncomfortable lmao

trying to think of gift ideas for my friend themed around her favorite character

hi all !!! ❤️❤️❤️ im trying to make a gift for my friend and i originally tried making a plushie but i dont have enough time to sew the whole thing =(

shes made a few characters she really really likes and i wanted to make a gift themed around her favorite. i was thinking about keychains but im not sure i have the stuff to make one, and i dont feel comfortable commissioning online services to make things like that as its her own character and i dont feel like she’d be comfortable with that (and its not like i can ask)

i struggle really badly with thinking outside the box so admittedly im pretty stumped .. i thought about stickers but diying some with double sided tape felt a little cheap. i did get her another gift and im making some bracelets as well so im not too stressed but i like seeing her happy. do yall have any ideas? :’)

how do i make my tofu sour cream more… creamy?

ive tried a few tofu sour cream recipes (usually along the lines of blended firm tofu, some oil or melted margarine, garlic and some lime + vinegar) and theyre good but they taste more like garlic lime tofu than sour cream. i also just cant get the tofu taste out idk 😭 maybe the tofu i buy tastes really strong cuz the tofu i get at restaurants doesnt have the same flavor

i thought about adding some coconut milk for fat because it has a creamier texture than just straight oil but im worried itll make it taste like coconut. any of yall have suggestions? thank you in advance ily 😙
