short backstory: I (F)was having some itchiness and wanted to see if I had a yeast infection or something else. I normally go to planned parenthood but they havent been having appointments available lately so I went to my school health center same day. the nurse talked about m gen and said how it is becoming more popular and asked if I wanted to get tested for stis. I said sure just to be safe even though Ive been with my partner for roughly two years and got tested after we got together.

I did in fact have a yeast infection and then I get a surprise notification that I tested positive for m gen which sucks. what sucks worse is that when I had gotten tested at PP they did not test for this so there is no way to tell how long Ive had it. I am so sad and nervous now after reading all of these stories with people having such a hard time getting rid of it. I am hoping I am one of the lucky ones.

I was prescribed a week of doxy followed by a week of moxi. My partner (M) has not gotten tested or had any symptoms but got prescribed a week of doxy followed by azithro. When I asked PP about m gen testing they nearly laughed on the phone which is crazy! So many places I am seeing are not even testing for it which makes no sense with it becoming more popular.

hello, I am trying to update my bfs older iphone on my macbook since he doesnt have enough space available on his phone. I added him to my icloud family since I pay for the 2 TB of storage and barely use any. When I plug his phone into my macbook it tries to update but says it cant because there is not enough free space on my macbook for the backup, even though i have selected the backup to iCloud option. his is an 11 pro max and I think I have a 2023 macbook air. is his phone just too old and he cant update? it is causing a problem because now many of his apps like banking and cashapp are not longer working on his phone. any advice please because the apple page is not helpful!

my manager is chill sometimes but also irritates tf out of me most of the time. they use chat/AI for literalllllly everything. like the most basic things. makes me so annoyed because why are you getting paid way more than me for doing bullshit meanwhile I'm doing all the orders for the shop and youre taking credit for it with the big boss. its just a smoke shop/convenience store but we dont get regular breaks or even lunch breaks with 8 hour shifts. Ill be mid eating and then have to stop because someone needs help or my coworker needs something. I don't really want to fuck them over but Im genuinely debating going to someone regarding the breaks. just grinning and bearing it until Im done with school and can get a better more fulfilling job.

having some itching/burning issues the past couple days after returning back from a vacation in a humid place, water park, that type of stuff. haven’t had sex with my bf in like two weeks so I’m not sure if he is the cause since it only started the past few days. planned parenthood has no appointments and I have no health insurance currently. wish I could afford one of those at home microbiome tests but wow they’re expensive. it shouldn’t be this difficult for women’s health care 😭 taking probiotics and boric acid for now. so sorry to anyone dealing with this stuff it sucks !! just want to lay in bed and ice my puss lol but no I have to work and deal with customers

i’m just so annoyed with contact and glasses altogether. been wearing glasses since the 4th grade and I’m 26 now. started wearing contacts on and off since I was 12. loved my contacts for so long never really had any issues. always took them out, cleaned them, even was fine when wearing lots of makeup. within the past 6months to a year I’ve been wearing my glasses due to being short on funds and not having a current contact prescription, in addition to my right eye getting extremely irritated when I have the contacts in. finally got a new script and ordered two boxes (gotta love having a different prescription in each eye). just put the new set in and within a couple hours my right eye is burning and just feels like it’s being scratched like i have sand in it. should I start looking for different brands ? I’ve been using air optix for astigmatism for years. it’s always my right eye which is weird. at my appointment they said my eyes looked great so idk if it’s scratched or what. i’m scared to get lasik and i don’t love wearing my glasses all the time since i like wearing makeup and they make my nose all oily. such a struggle I wish I could just wake up in the morning and see clearly !!!

ah yes we love summertime and battling over air conditioning. this is not an issue with my roommates but rather my bfs. it’s summertime in norcal and we’re having multiple over 100 degree days a week now and his roommates are so stingy and want to keep the house at a cozy 85 degrees 🤣 I do not live there with him but spend a decent amount of nights with him since he has cats in addition to paying for a larger portion of rent and utilities so why wouldn’t he sleep there. these brokies continuously turn the a/c up and I don’t understand how they’re sleeping at night when it’s that temperature. it’s absolutely ridiculous. two of the roommates in the house are so stinky yet they both shower multiple times a day just wasting water for what ?? and one of them is constantly leaving the front door open when he leaves the house, not just unlocked but fully open like wtf this is a grown ass 50+ year old man. just saving up money now until we can get our own place together and I finish my degree then we won’t have to deal with this crap. I have my qualms with my own roommates but they’re chill for the most part thankfully. i’ve had to deal with my share of bad roommates in the past, mfs would steal my dishes and throw them away when they were too lazy to wash them, smoke so much in the house it smelled like a casino, amongst many other things. stay strong everyone.

been working at this place over 3 years now. overall it’s pretty easy plus I’m the assistant manager. do orders, inventory, help customers but god i can’t stand it anymore. i get paid decent but its sucking my life force away. my days off are spent thinking about my next shift. i have quite a few good customers who i always look forward to seeing but most days it’s the same addicts coming in for kratom specifically 7oH, oil burners, nitrous, etc. it’s so unfulfilling and just plain annoying dealing with these people. i’m currently finishing up my bachelors degree and this job is very flexible with the schedule and my classes so that is the only reason i’m still here. come december when Im finished with school I am finally freeing myself from this place lol. just needing to vent as it has been weighing on me. i used to look forward to work but it has just gotten more strict and i don’t even smoke anymore. plus the shop is shady so we’re always having to do some weird bs due to living in a flavor ban state. anyway it could be much worse and I’m starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. writing this as i lay in bed and have to be at work in 10 mins lol.
