Does anyone else have terrible luck I'm thinking about quitting

I've been playing since december 2024 and so far I don't have a single limited full set from a gacha. Only the free ones. F2p– goes without saying. But honestly more often than not I see F2ps with super amazing luck even my own friend. I'm tired atp its annoying and only gets worse

respectfully, i have thoughts (pls hear me out i beg)

this post today has made me want to share my own articulation regarding why men, in general, are so critical towards women's critical thinking. buckle up, this will be a long one.

first i want to mention these two hadith:

"i saw hell, and i saw that the majority of its inhabitants were women... they are ungrateful to their husbands and ungrateful for good treatment. if you were to do good to one of them for a lifetime, then she saw one thing she disliked, she would say, 'i have never seen any good from you.'" (sahih al-bukhari 29, 5197; sahih muslim 907)

"most of those who follow the dajjal will be women, to the extent that a man will return to his wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt and tie them with ropes, fearing they will go out to him."

now let's dissect things. yummy.

after a lot of self reflection, i've come to think of three words pertaining to women in general: empathy, acceptance, and intensity. intensity of emotion. we women were built to be more emotional and more empathetic. i would like to clarify again and again that i'm speaking in broad generalities. there are, and always will be, exceptional cases.

anyhow, women have historically been more receptive to what many of you might claim to be radical change. they are far more supportive of lgbtq than men. more accepting. more willing to empathize with the minority and the seemingly oppressed. does it come from relating? maybe. but then it would be a funny self fulfilling prophecy. but i digress.

anyways, we also see this instance with the wife of lut (pbuh). arguably the og supporter of lgbtq, and we all know what happened to her. regardless of the exact reasoning behind her actions, the point i'm trying to make is that women have often been portrayed as more accepting of ideas that challenge established norms.

now let's focus on empathy and emotional intensity.

i forgot where i read it, but i came across an article discussing islam and late-stage capitalism. later i started thinking about how women, in general, tend to be more materialistic than men. by that i mean more attracted to beautiful, tangible things. and i say this with full respect as a woman. there's no harm in appreciating nice things if we know the limits.

now let's connect this to the dajjal follower hadith and see the rationale behind it. imagine the world is basically mad max: fury road. dajjal comes. promises cool shiny stuff and unlimited food. cool shiny stuff (appealing to materialistic tendencies) and unlimited food (appealing to empathy and the desire to sustain one's family and children, even if it might mean compromising religion). it all connects in a way if you think about it. once again, i'm speaking in a very general sense. feel free to add your perspectives.

now let's come to critical thinking.

empathy, emotional intensity, and acceptance. the three horsemen or whatever. these might be what make men wary of women questioning and critically dissecting things. first of all, they already have this built-in mindset from all these hadith warning about women. it's kind of like how male-female friendships aren't outright banned by the quran, but zina is. hence, to be safe, male-female friendships are generally viewed as a big no by many scholars. it's prevention rather than remedy.

men probably fear that women can't tell where the limit of questioning lies and that we're more prone to being brainwashed. maybe we are. maybe we aren't. who knows. everything is so, so nuanced.

which brings me to a final point: accusing us of "feminism."

first of all, only women truly understand the female experience. and most men can't distinguish between ideology and emotion. two very different things. just because we feel genuinely hurt by certain hadith directed at us doesn't mean we're outright rejecting all of them and submitting to western feminism. yay sexual liberty. yay bikini.

their way of thinking is rather...linear at times. and i don't blame them. that's just how we were built. men generally prioritize reasoning, women generally prioritize emotion. (not saying women can't reason and men can't feel emotion. just speaking in broad generalities. God, from now on i should just put a warning saying everything is nuanced before posting lmao.)

so yeah, that's enough yapping for the day. on another note, this sub has somehow become a very comforting place for me lol. i would like to tell all my fellow lovely women to hold on to yourselves and persist. because perhaps that is one of our tests.

have you ever wondered why the almighty would make us with all these emotions and then allow a number of hadith that deeply hurt us and might even work to turn us against Him (Astaghfirullah)? yeah, think about it this way, right? i will not outright reject authentic hadith despite some of them hurting me because Allah knows all, Allah sees all, and Allah understands better than i ever could. ameen.

Being a woman feels like an afterthought

sometimes i feel like God just hates women, but then i remember maybe it's not God, maybe it's the words of men.

so much in islam feels like it's skewed towards men and unfair to women. i won't even go over the narrations claiming the majority of hell's dwellers and even the majority of dajjal's followers will be women, because i understand the rationale people give behind them. but still, needless to say, they specifically portray women in a negative light.

women are supposed to cover up, not smell good in public, and constantly regulate themselves to help men control their urges, even though men themselves are encouraged to look good and smell good. and after all that restraint, you're told you'll end up as "one of" your husband's wives in jannah because, of course, men wanting multiple women is supposedly their fitrah, while women's fitrah is apparently to sexually serve men forever, even in paradise. oh, but asking for monogamy is obviously selfish, and it's okay because your jealousy will be removed in heaven!! you'll be more than happy to share your husband!! yippiee.

female sexuality is practically nonexistent. it's taboo. a woman is expected to sexually please her husband, but you rarely hear the other side emphasized with the same intensity. there are vivid descriptions of punishment for women in hell over things like disobeying their husbands, while for men it's often summarized as "treat your wives well." women are compared to and associated with a bunch of problematic, sometimes downright horrendous things that i won't even get into here.

oh, and then there's this peak male fantasy wet dream of a hadith:

"No woman annoys her husband in the world except that his wife among the al hur al 'ayn says, 'Do not annoy him. He is only like a guest with you. Soon he will part from you for us.'" (tirmidhi 1174)

okay... but what about when men mistreat their wives instead? in fact, men abusing their wives is far more common than the reverse. where are the angelic husbands or hoor comforting women and berating their worldly husbands from heaven? why does the imagery almost always seem to revolve around validating the man's perspective?

men are promised explicit rewards for guarding themselves, while women often feel like second class citizens in heaven. but hey, at least we won't have to cover ourselves head to toe anymore. double yippieee.

at this point i don't even want to associate with human men, neither in this life nor in the next, because they scare me. sometimes it feels like they'll never truly love me because everything eventually gets reduced to sex.

idk. as a woman, i feel like an afterthought. and upon introspection, i realize how this could become a self fulfilling prophecy. if women constantly grow up hearing narrations that portray them as more prone to evil, more prone to disbelief, more likely to end up in hell, and spiritually secondary, it's not hard to imagine how that could affect generations of women and the way they're treated. and it's tiring.

i'm seriously thinking about minimizing my intake of hadith and focusing primarily on the quran, along with the necessary hadith that teach things like prayer and other core practices.

please don't attack me. you'll only be proving my point. if you think i'm wrong, then refute me in a civilized manner.

Pls don't smite me

muslim men genuinely scare me and its sad that i'm restricted from marrying outside the faith while they have that freedom. i know the traditional rationale behind it but it’s just tragic to see play out

Can blocked account see blocker's profile among collaborators?

For example lets say you have 2 accounts. A public one and a private one. You have someone blocked on that private one but not the public one. Now you create a post on the private account and make the public account a collaborator. Now my question is can the blocked profile see the private account in the collaborator list on the public account?

I'm neither cynical nor depressed just a realist

I grew up thinking one day things will finally make sense. That there’s some moment where life settles into itself and suddenly you feel real and grounded and alive. But instead everything just keeps getting duller. Less saturated. Like the color is slowly draining out of everything without you even noticing it at first.

Every day feels like a repeat of another day that already happened. Same conversations. Same scrolling. Same pretending to care. Same pretending in general. Everyone feels so performative now. Even basic human interaction feels rehearsed half the time. Nobody says what they actually mean and nobody feels fully present anymore.

Sometimes I genuinely wonder if maybe the real test already happened and this is just the aftermath. Like maybe we already died somewhere along the way and this is some strange limbo where we just continue in circles until time runs out. Because nothing feels real anymore. Not in a dramatic way either. Just in this quiet detached way that sits in the background of everything.

And the weird part is I’m not even depressed. I can still laugh. I can still function. I still get through the day. It’s more like stagnation. Like something inside me stopped moving a long time ago and everything since then has just been maintenance.

I’ve lost interest in almost everything. Even the things that used to make me genuinely happy don’t hit the same anymore. Music feels boring. Movies feel like a thing to cross of the checklist. Conversations feel stale. Hobbies feel like chores. Its like my brain stopped fully connecting to things.

The only part of the day I really look forward to now is going to bed. Not because I want to disappear or anything dramatic like that. Sleep just feels like the only time I’m not being forced to participate in this constant meaningless cycle and I genuinely look forward to dreaming as it's the only time I don't feel dead even though I technically am (soul leaves body when you sleep and all that)

And maybe that sounds cynical but I think a lot of people secretly feel this way now. We’re all just too scared to admit it out loud lest the illusion shatters.

What they say is true, our souls truly weren't designed for whatever this is
