Every time my opponent play this move, I feel I'm in the deep forest because I don't know how to proceed with the right sequence of moves due to transpositions.
I'm 2000-2100 blitz rating in lichess and most of my lost games comes when white plays d4. It's confusing because d4 opening has numerous transpositions. Any suggestions to study this opening less complicated.

I'm struggling to visualize the variations and it's branches which causes time loss because I need to go back from the start again to attempt visualize the final position. I think it's one of my issue in the sense that I rely sometimes on intuition when it comes to critical position/moments instead of visualizing it clearly.
