Me and my buddy, Reza. Tehran, Iran 1975

I lived in Tehran, Iran, along with many other places while I was growing up. We lived in a house provided by my father's company.

There was a family that lived on the roof. Reza was a member of that family. If I remember correctly, it was common for homes in Tehran to be built on top of other homes that weren't connected to them in any way. Reza came with the house. Included friend to play with. ❤️

I ruined a mods day today. it wasn't even my intention.

A mod started shit with me today for some reason. actually there was a reason but it was very petty. I'm so tempted to post all the screenshots here. he followed me to two different posts. one on r/rantingzone where the mods locked it down. it was probably him! fucking hilarious! I messaged the mod team that he thought he was hiding from me. if I was a complete asshole I would post the screenshots and his reddit username. even though I have screenshots of him calling me a fucking asshole along with other things, I will not do that. obviously not with this account. he's probably got five alerts set!! sorry virgin

quick rant about reddit mods

i'm a recently retired 30-year it pro. i've used reddit for years. it's fine. massive and fine. i have heard plenty of stories over the years about what a pain in the ass reddit mods are and thought for sure that it was overblown.

in the last two days i've had a couple of posts that have done pretty well so i've tried to repost them to other subreddits which usually have much less participation. it's like getting teeth pulled.

god what a bunch of self-important assholes. i'm sure not all of them are. but i bet a ton of them are!!

new outlook

I hadn't tripped since 2009. it was a bad trip. I was in a bad place. my life is completely different now and I tripped for the first time again a few weeks ago. it all makes so much more sense now. when you are truly happy, psychedelics just amplify who you are and what you're feeling.

I quit drinking in March. I'm an alcoholic and I never admitted it to myself. well, I did but I didn't do anything about it. because now I am completely at peace, my latest trip was absolutely beautiful. when it's over, I get a good sleep then feel fantastic for days. I plan to trip monthly going forward. I now believe that it is difficult, if not impossible to have a bad trip if you are truly content.

I think psychedelics are miracle drugs and I'm so glad that the medical community is finally doing something about it. fuck the pharmaceutical companies.

server to discuss psychedelic therapy

I'm pretty new to discord and I've created a server where I would like some community engagement. I'm not a business and I'm not looking to monetize anything. I don't want to be a pest but I don't know how to go about promoting my server and a friendly way. any suggestions? thank you https://discord.gg/fCvTQ7qvs
