Question about son of the slob

The first book was really good with the message BUT I'm not sure about the sequel... I'm a bit iffy about the descriptions, and I'm wondering if the plot would even go anywhere because It kinda seems like shock value the way through. I like two new characters but oh well they're dead ig... Does it get better or should I drop it? (Small spoilers please!)

The arguing parties between the HA movie are annoying asf. Wdyt?

Both the fans and haters of haunting Adeline are AGONIZING to look from afar..🫩

There both are comparing real world Incidents (not situations) in fiction, the fans are revealing so much about themselves, and the haters are just as annoying. In my opinion and others...MOVIE SHOULDNT BE DROPPED. HAVE THE GRAPHIC NOVEL TO BE FOCUSED ON, PLEASE. this book is a MESS and so is this drama. Fiction is an expression for several things, and not just fantasies. The fans didn't seem to read the shit properly, neither did the haters. But I do understand both of them but c'mon be more logical about their framing of the relationship.

SIDE ARGUMENT: AND HA IS NOT GOT, LIGHTS OUT, 50 SHADES OF GREY AND 360 DAYS. THOSE ARE ENTIRELY DIFFERENT FUCKING MOVIES AND BOOKS. 😤 (I LOVE GOT, OK)

It's honestly going to be extremely messy through the months and the sex scenes would be the main focus at the end of the day (sorry). the haters dislike the book for valid reason I mostly agree on but the creator ISNT a bad person (hell, she's really sweet :3), it's just her writing for people who aren't fond of the treatment of the plot, themes or anything about it. Can we not falsely accuse H.D. she doesn't have anything to do with false allegations that are made up.

And for the fans... I don't know man, I saw one saying ignorant shit, a few are young readers who don't know shit about the entire book (I mean really..) and the hypocrisy is KILLING ME. 💀

And censorship can be a bitch sometimes but maybe listen to what you're saying because censorship plays a big role in the mainstream films. And a movie, and book aren't the same thing, so things aren't going to be in the movie if it's mainstream... A movie adaptation plays fiction into a staged reality, and a book is a freedom of whatever you want in a story. The NSFW scenes are hot, don't get me wrong, but a movie ruins the imagination and secret arousal of it all.

Another SIDE CONVO: I'm not a big fan of dark romances but the majority of arousing scenes, I fw with them, though I'm a huge freak for fucked up books and media. I STRICTLY prefer topics to be taken RAWLY and I don't like certain things romanticized *(buzz word)*.

And lastly, I dislike the majority of the authors books, like the creativity of the relationships, hate the unethical arguments, and LOVE watching a genre I don't read, fight to the death😼

What are books you tried to like because everyone loves them but ended up questioning why ppl enjoy that shit 😭

Including; phrases, grammar, dynamics, and etc.

Found a few fantasy books involving A priest and a DnD plotline and got this with some imaginary scenarios

The line art is a bit messy but I got my design down first so I could make a clear scene of them interacting with each other :)

Question to dark romance readers about differences between Books or movies :)

As someone who isn't in the DR community but understands the aspects of it I have a question. If the most fucked up book you've read becomes into a movie would you be upset or not with the elements of SA, violence, and etc being acted out with real people?

As someone who takes interest in fucked up horror and splatterpunk books, Im just wondering how my uncensored media family feels about this happening at some point!

(IM BEGGING FOR THIS TO BE NOT REMOVED BY MODS AFTER 2 ATTEMPTS😭)

Infected lover, and at the end there was a late solution.

Ok, first, it starts in a country side where an apocalyptic outbreak spreads from the city and to the south. The disease was slow but effectively infecting everything and everyone that comes across it. This includes Plants, meat, animals and humans. Before the apocalypse, the protagonist fell in love with his neighbor down the street and they've built a strong connection with each other. But everything was in secret due to the negative view upon homosexuality in their area. Until that time the apocalypse was rising and the two lovers ran away together to avoid any more conflict. The MC lover came into contact with an infected tree he scratched himself with and contracted the disease. Along their continued journey to find a cure and the MC's lover urged to resist to attack his lover, at the end their answer arrived too late.

Sorry for my grammar I'm working on it :)

Shaming coping communities is extremely common

Note!: (as I'm referring to; CnC enjoyers, coping shippers, etc)

Coping is a common thing everyone does and Its degrading for others who are shamed for it, (or people who honestly sick fucks) who water it down to earth because they refuse to understand the entire point of why others have these feelings which is rooted from abuse, sexual assault and childhood. And I, as an underage user, I allow myself to understand what others go through! And at points I'm uncomfortable with the ideas which is okay for me to feel!

There is no need for me or you to entertain the ideas too.

Another reason why these spaces are disregarded is also because people who are sickos take the opportunity to disguise their non-consenting and predatory ideas into discussions (referring to pedophilla, rape and intended abuse). This can heavily represent a negative frame in victim coping spaces:(

I wish people shouldn't shame or beat people down for being a recovering victim wanting to cope with their experiences with others who've been through the same. If a SA survivor isn't fond of CnC or rape roleplay, that's is fine! <3
