Morathi the Shadow Queen from Warhammer in both her forms took me 6 months of full time work, but it was worth it to express myself for one day in a form of healing by taking power from the character and allowing self expression in a safe healthy way.

Costume making is less “fun” and more dedication and satisfaction comes from finishing something and seeing it come alive. The process… is not what I’d call fun lol. But it is rewarding.
Ultimately I did get the newly formed and cured silicone Tail “skin” off… but not how I was wanting to.
Since I wasn’t done with the silicone layers but it needed to come off the form I made I didn’t want to lubricate it yet because unless it’s cleaned to literal perfection that can inhibit new layers of silicone from curing. But in the end I gave up, lubed up the big ol thing and got an extra hand to help. I’ll share that video soon too.
