why wont the villagers breed? [java] version 26.2

they start to make out and stuff like when the hearts come up but then eventually it'll show like the gray thing idk how to explain it but then they stopped. the old ones did it so i killed them and got new ones... and now they're doing the same thing. any help? it was working before idk what happene

online there are multiple ways to watch the show for free, but they filtered a lot of my favorite... or "dark" moments that made the show worth while for me. just asking is there a way i can watch unfiltered version for free
