Hi hi, I'm having some issues with crouching. I know many widows do it as a tactic to throw the head hitbox off, but I just seem to not be able to use my pinky finger on ctrl for it reliably/quickly. So my question is, does anyone have it bound to something else or could give advice on how to do crouching better?

Hi everybody, I recently found some of my favorite counters from like 10 years ago again that I used in pretty much every build. I was so happy to use them again, only I came to realize that I would love more colors and would probably need to do that myself. I have no idea how to do that, tho. i legit yelled when i got the skin, i wanted it for so long. so i play her the next game and.. get play?? this is like only my third or fourth time getting potg with her. i jumped out my seat lol (dont call out my shaking, natural tremor was bad today)
I am always on the hunt for new spots and angles, the most fun part about widow for me, who usually plays aggressive with her, is being sneaky and unpredictable at times. You will always win the 1v1 if the enemy doesn't see you :p

Obviously I grew up watching the show with my mom and it has significant nostalgia but the new show is just boring me out of my mind. I didn't like the pilot movie on the old show either, but at least it wasn't as long. But this new show.. like why are they still in that fuckass town in episode 5, are they staying there in this show and there is no walnut grove?? and why are they all, especially Charles, hallucinating people 😭 it feels like nothing happens every episode, it's just so.. bland

i YELLED when i hit this shot, i was so proud of myself. i need to always tell myself that my biggest advantage as widow is my one shot - hipfire often just tickles my enemy and i die. i need to trust my ability and i embrace that more and more :3
That Doomfist was on my ass the whole game and god, did I love my team 😭 he literally wrote in chat "do you die like actually do you die" and then later "why do you have a swat team on your ass" any time he dived me it was hilarious
I started playing overwatch in season 17 because my friends asked me to join. I never played a shooter game before and I was super scared about everything, but they were cool with me just learning things with them. At first I purely played Pharah because I was scared to get into the action, but I slowly branched out and started trying every character in the game. One of those people in the little group was my boyfriend, he was the one encouraging me to try out characters - only when I started doing that, he started being really mean. He pointed out everything I did wrong and we ended the night with him outright yelling at me. I left, more things happened unrelated to the game and I blocked him and ended all contact.

I still had my best friend and duo however, so I kept playing the game and I got better. The first time I played ranked I was placed in silver 4. Every season I got better and I learned more and more. Now I'm really comfortable on the game, I'm a Widow/Ana main who also plays a handful of other heroes very comfortably, including tank every now and then. And when my ex streamed at the end of last season, he clicked his own profile and I saw that he was in bronze-silver after playing this game since release. I am currently ranked diamond.

I just feel so good about myself now, he is a piece of shit human being (after we broke up I also found out he was very homophobic and dated a 17 year old when he was 34) and I feel vindicated.
Take this little rant with a grain of salt, there's a humorous twinkle in my eyes you guys just can't see over text.

It lowkey feels like I'm playing a different game than anyone else is. Like I'm stuck in slow motion while everybody else plays on 2x speed. Every new character has mobility options, they're small and quick and spammy. It doesn't help that my second main next to Widow is Ana. What lowkey annoys me the most is that so many characters get a shitty grenade ability, too. Even Shions bike is technically a grenade ability, even if it looks much cooler lol
I don't mind Shion, I actually think she's an amazing character with a very interesting and decently balanced kit for now, not as busted as Vendetta for example on release.
But generally it is very apparent that Widow is a character from a different time and sometimes it hits a bit hard to me that they don't even bother fixing her bugs when most characters nowadays can just maneuver up to you and spam you to death. That said, at least Shion is actually super cool and not boring and once I don't need to instalock-fight-for-my-life-pick to play her in a week or two, I'll try her out more lmao
sometimes I forget the rules of quickplay are that only one team can have fun... LMAO I was wanting to play some widow but my team couldnt do anything against their doomfist dominating and we had like 40 seconds left to first point, so i had to switch to our girl and ofc i was called out for it. idc tho bc we won :3

I think I might have at most 10 hours on her but I would really love to be able to at least be decent at her. I am a widow main otherwise so aim technicallyyyy is not the problem, its more being in their face, easily losing where i am and getting absolutely shaky and nervous in a 1v1 lmao season 3 will be me playing her more

I was sooo annoying that game, the enemy Junker Queen chased me half across the map before giving up because she wanted me so bad lol ofc I am just really starting to get the hang of her when shes getting a rework soon (pls dont suck plsss)
