Coming from a Steam Deck, I wanted that exact same seamless, controller-first "SteamOS" experience. While dedicated Linux builds are great, I specifically chose Windows 11 for this living room rig to ensure flawless HDMI 2.1 support giving me perfect 4K 120Hz, VRR, and ALLM straight to my Sony Bravia X90H.

Using a tool called OmniConsole, we get the absolute best of both worlds: native Windows hardware support combined with a legit, bypass-the-desktop Steam console UI.

Testing out the first boss fight in Pragmata. Injected FSR 4.0.2c via OptiScaler, and the results are pretty wild for the Deck.

The combat and pacing feel incredibly fluid. Too smooth on handheld. Kudos to Capcom!

I recently built my own bootable USB flashing tool called RGS ISO Flasher for Steam Deck and Linux.

I originally made it because I wanted a simpler way to create Windows and Linux bootable USBs directly on SteamOS without dealing with complicated terminal commands.
