The start of Ryan and Maci

Ok I’m literally 5 mins into the first episode of 16 and pregnant so I know things will change drastically but WOW drugs really did a number on Ryan. He seems to calm, soft spoken, kinda a dick but also just tells it like it is, makes me wonder what things could have been like

Nursing to sleep. Every. Time

It’s just how I get my 14 month old to sleep every time. And every wake up at night we nurse until she falls back asleep. Is this wrong? Will she eventually teach herself to go back to sleep without? I’ve just been following her lead this whole journey. Sleep has been a challenge since birth

Multiple wake ups while cosleeping

We started cosleeping at 9 months bc my girl was waking up every 2-3 hours. It’s helped tremendously but she’s still waking up multiple times a night. We tried transitioning to a floor bed and I’ll nurse her to sleep then go to my own bed but after a couple wakes I just stay in there with her. What’s my best move next? Should I stop leaving her? She’s 14 months

Veggie inspo

What veggies are you giving your 15 month olds? I often forget completely bc I barely eat them myself. For my girl I lean on broccoli and carrots

How do you know when it’s time to transition into their own bed?

My 14 month old has been waking up every three hours her whole life and then at 9 months old she started waking up every two we finally started co sleeping. Now I’m starting to wonder if it’s time to try sleeping solo again. I’m thinking the crib probably won’t magically start working so maybe a floor bed? Then I can lay down with her and try and leave. I nurse her back to sleep at every wake up so I’m sure this won’t be easy. Would love to hear your thoughts!

My experience at a megachurch with a 14 month old. Would love your insight!

The first time I brought my daughter in the volunteers were great they made me feel like it was ok that I was in there with her. She was extremely clingy but I was able to successfully leave her and catch the last 10 mins of service. They suggested next week have my husband try. So today we did and it was a bad experience. Someone in charge just kind of shouted through the doorway making it clear they didn’t want my husband in there with her. Had he come in through the door and explained it would have been different. The volunteers were not warm and welcoming to my husband and my daughter hated every interaction with them. So now we’re feeling like we just can’t go? Would love to hear any insight y’all might have on this. I would love to create a positive community for my daughter and provide her with some independence. She’s not in daycare she’s with me full time

Swimming with your one year old

What’s everyone’s routine like? I didn’t take my girl last year she was too small and I’m trying to decide if it’s even worth it to take her swimming this year. Taking off wet bathing suits etc just seems like more work than it’s worth but I could be wrong. It is essential that we take our babies swimming or should I wait until next year

Eliminating coffee?

Has anyone tried eliminating coffee with the sole purpose of acting as an aid to slow things down? When I’m restless it’s very hard for me to be patient and not rush

Schedule with 1 year old?

My instinct has been to nurse after every meal but I really don’t know what I’m doing so I’d love to hear your nursing schedules! We also heavily use the boob as a sleep aid 🤷‍♀️

When to return to public spaces after hand foot mouth disease?

We’re on day 13 it’s been rough isolating and my girl still has some visible bumps but they have faded quite a bit. I’m wondering when we can have play dates, go to the library etc do they have to be completely gone?

My one year old has never been a great eater. Still just tasting it seems like. Recently she’s been taking big bites and then getting overwhelmed not chewing or spitting out how can I help her? I started serving her smaller bite sizes but she just puts a bunch in there and then gets upset lol
