[PARTIALLY SOLVED]

Since EA patched the move_objects cheat for Sims Legacy Edition we can no longer overlap items/put them on the same square. Does anybody know of a mod that puts cheat back? TwistedMexi made a MOO mod for Sims 4 so not for Legacy Edition? ☹️

EDIT 2: I retried this cheat and it only applied to certain objects not all of them. Like doorways can't overlap but paintings can be under the wall phone.

And last month I was CC shopping and remember finding this place object anywhere mod but I forgot to save it, it took hours to find that mod, but at least I know it exists.

I’ve seen so many people make some amazing mods for this game and wanna make stuff too. Like a new job, nectar recipes, heads, skins, and few other things. But the tools (like The Transmogrifier and IFF Pencil 2 for example) don’t recognize Sims Legacy Edition that I bought from Steam. Is it even possible to make mods for Sims Legacy Edition using these tools?

Is there a mod out there that enables overlap of build and buy objects? Like I don’t like how I have to separate two doorways by one tile when it would look so much more aesthetically pleasing to have them on the same tile to look like this shape: _| or |_

I made a bachelor sim named Kevin Hilton and dressed him like a himbo; then I had him adopt this cute bulldog stray named Spike. I even bought a black spiked collar for his precious pup.

But training Spike was wasn’t easy because the interaction was rare to even get. 99% of the time it’s just “Play with”-”Pet”. Kevin was lucky to get to be able to hug Spike at all. Three real-time hours later they both burned to death in the fenced-in backyard because Kevin tried to make burgers. Damnit Kevin!

Anybody else wish that GrayStillPlays made more Sims videos? He’d make even more chaos in Sims 1 because fires happen so easily. Only downside is mods can be tough to find because the game is over 20 years old and a good portion of mod sites are dead.

I love this game but I’ve dug myself into such a deep rabbit hole since I’ve purchased this game in 2022 that I now have 79 unfinished builds and 19 households. 🫣

Anybody willing to give me an invite for sim file share? I’ve tried registering and nothing is happening since it’s been almost a week.

I'm trying to view a mod I downloaded for the Sims 1 but can't open the file. I've downloaded and put the plugin in the correct folder. I have the latest update for the program but I keep getting the plug-in crashed and returned with no values messages. Please help.

I’ve seen people make doors and lockable doors via hacking. Is there a way to make functional gates for fences? I don’t like how we have to leave fences open because strays (when I don’t have the stray zapper sign) and neighbors/strangers will wander my property

Every time I click agree I get the same message “Invalid Username”. I have no spaces or special characters in my user name just letters and numbers. Anybody now how to register?

I found this really cool greenhouse mod but the invisible floor mod that is used with this no longer available. Does anyone know where I can get the flooring?

Anybody else use the Wicked Whims mod to give their sims sex lives? After all the slogan for The Sims is Play with Life.

I have a family of 8, husband and wife with six kids. They live on a 64x64 homestead farm in Chestnut Ridge complete with a small pond for fishing. I’ll have the kids take care of the animals while the parents work in the garden and workshop. And at dinner the whole family (even though only six of the sims in the whole household that can do this action unfortunately) cooks together. It’s super cute.

Back on point, while the kids are doing their homework in the dining room, the dad will be bending over mom on her workshop countertops making some rough sim love. The children absolutely oblivious to what’s going on. 😂

It gives a sense of realism in the game. And while the parents are getting busy I can focus on maintaining kiddo’s needs or skills. And watching the littles feed/interact with the chickens and chicks is cute; the hug animations are so freaking adorable! 😊
