Scurvy, the navy, the need for citrus and sauerkraut.
I just found out that cabbage is an excellent source of vitamin c. If that's the case and it's commonness in Central Europe (which I understand doesn't extend to Britain necessarily but still it's a way to preserve a vegetable that would last through a sea voyage) how did citrus fruits become the standard cure and they not find out about the much closer to home remedy of sauerkraut?

Most of the horror stories surrounding college debt seem to be centered around the interest rates. How much would it really cost to offer 0% interest loans through the government?
I understand that it represents a cost in terms of inflation, by the time the student is paying back the last payment it is less in real terms. I also understand that there would be the cost of servicing the loans that would have to be taken care of. But at the end of the day it seems like the best compromise currently to stop the issues of years of payment making hardly a dent while not not costing the government too much.

My "project spot is almost done
A fence line by an apartment complex has been my go-to when I don't feel like walking far. One stop shop for filling the bucket. Trouble is it's looking like I'm almost done with the spot. Maybe only two or three more buckets and it'll be done.

Weird tire problem. Almost like a bulge but all the way around one edge.
First is right side to show normal. Only 600ish miles on the tires. It's like a divit that goes around the whole tire. There is a plug from a screw in the tire but that seems to be holding fine.
