Radiohead pretty much confirmed for Tokyo 2027…

They just announced at the Summersonic Festival in Japan!

Check the comment for the video I took

PS: I think it will be a standalone concert not a festival, given that Summer Sonic runs at both Tokyo and Osaka (like Reading and Leeds) and the promoter hosts tons of standalone shows throughout the year.

Clubs to join in and around Chesham?

I recently moved to Chesham with my partner and we’re looking for clubs to join. We’re both late twenties so anything that skews a bit younger would be ideal. We’ve tried meetup but had no luck other than a walking group we found. We’d really love a regular book club or film club if anyone knows of anything like that nearby?

Any rumours on Coachella 2027?

Hear me out: there are some credible leakers with excellent track records for predicting/leaking artists on the Coachella subreddit that have said in the last few months that Radiohead may be headlining Coachella next year. Just wondering if anyone in here has heard anything? I know Ed mentioned touring next year, which I still don’t really know what to think about as it seemed like such a random non-announcement.

I’ve set up a social group for young people in the Chilterns!

Hi all, I hope this okay to post here. I recently moved to Chesham with my girlfriend around a month ago. While we love it here and there are lots of events in town, we couldn’t find many groups or activities specifically for younger people. So, we’ve decided to set up a group called Chiltern Young Social for people in their 20s and 30s! We’re planning events like seeing local live music, pub nights, watching sports, attending festivals, pub quizzes etc. Our events are mostly in Chesham, Amersham, Berkhamsted and other surrounding towns. If this is something you’re interested in, I’ve left links to our meet up page and Instagram below. Our next event will be a pub visit in Chesham for England v Argentina, and then we’re seeing a local band at Vault 17 in the following week. Thanks and hopefully see you there!

[11/07/26] Pub for the England game in Bucks?

Anyone fancy going to the pub for the England game later, maybe a few drinks before hand? I’ve just moved to Chesham a few weeks ago so don’t really know anyone around here. If anyone is in Chesham or other towns in or near Bucks like Berko or Amersham an fancies meeting up let me know. I’m 29M btw.

Any alternative bracelet for the CW C63?

I managed to get a 36mm black dial C63 Sealander in the sale, the last gen which is a watch I’ve loved and really wanted to get. It was £580 on the vintage leather strap. I really would like a bracelet though, ideally the bader, however it’s £240…. Are there any cheaper alternatives? Any other straps I could use instead that are maybe in the sale or cheaper at all? If I bought the strap separately from CW I think I’d be paying as much all together as I would if I bought the thing brand new. And I’m sure I saw it on bracelet in the sale for £750 or so but it had sold out.

When to queue for final resale?

So I have 1 ticket for court 1 next Saturday. I understand you can join the resale kiosk when in the grounds and potentially get a centre court ticket for £15. It is of course the ladies final that day. Realistically, how likely is it to get one of these tickets and when should I be at the resale kiosk?

Talking to people in a pub when on your own?

I just moved to a new town and I don’t know anyone here. There’s a cover band playing in a bar in town and I was thinking of going, but what’s the etiquette for talking to people randomly? Is that a thing people or do? I’ve never gone to a pub solo. All my mates are back home and I’ve never had to do something like this before, but I’d really like to try and meet people I just don’t know how.

Does my journeyman sound realistic?

I started a journeyman save unemployed with no badges, taking over Chesham United. After getting them promoted to the National League in the play offs, in my fourth season there I finished 17th, avoiding relegation, and also winning the FA Trophy.

I then took the job at Bohemians who were struggling at the bottom of the Irish Premier Division. In that first season I barely saved them from relegation, finishing 9th and winning the play off to avoid going down. In my second season however, I won the league and did the double, also winning the FAI cup.

Shortly after this I resigned. I decided that I needed a new challenge and I wasn’t sure how much further I could take Bohs.

A few months later, in June 2029, I took the job at Bordeaux. In my save, they’re in the third tier of French football, and finished their last season in 12th place.

Bordeaux is a team I’ve always wanted to manage and bring back to their former glory, and so I want to get them promoted twice and eventually challenge for Ligue 1. However I was wondering, for role play purposes I suppose, is this a realistic move? I know it’s only Ireland, but having just done the domestic double there, would it make sense to drop down to Bordeaux? They even questioned why I would I drop to club of their stature in my interview with them. I’d like to think I could hopefully win Ligue 1 in 4-6 seasons before moving to a bigger club like Dortmund or Athletico Madrid, and then on to a fallen giant like AC Milan or Man Utd and establishing a dynasty. I do however want my journey to feel realistic though so not sure!

Rig's 2027 Mock v1.1

So I thought I'd give this a proper go following the previous attempt. I likely won't be making another one for a while (if I do another).

Hopefully the placement and variety here is a bit better. I've tried to be realistic with the line up, e.g. following leakers on this sub talking about Fred Again and Radiohead, as well as upcoming tour dates for artists obviously etc. Don't slate me too much! Had fun making it :)

My first mock for 2027...

Haven't done one of these before and its probably a bit unrealistic, but it was fun to make!

Edit: a few have pointed out the weird sponsors which I didn’t even notice! They were just on the background image I used. If I make another mock up I’ll remove them.

I signed up to the waitlist about 20 mins after tickets sold on. I'm on for 2x GA + Shuttle. The credit card I put down is a Mastercard with the UK bank Monzo - usually on big purchases it sends a push notification in the app requesting that I approve the transaction. My question is for the waitlist sale it says that you will just be charged the full amount if you get allocated your tickets, but what happens if the bank wants to do a verification check at the time? What if it does so and I miss it, or the payment fails because GV can't charge immediately because the bank wants to do a verification thing? If anyone has any experience or this or similar would be grateful!
