Do you like the current theater that you are working for?
I work for an amc in the suburbs in my state. They don’t pay us as much as the other locations in the city.

Customers get agitated when I check them out at the bar about drink prices. I don’t set prices. Complain to management or corporate.

I wish the scheduling manager would stop doing this to the night crew. Spiderman premiered in my theatre last night. We had 5 managers, 1 supervisor, and a crew lead for the morning and mid shifts. Once it hit 7pm we were stuck with only two closing managers, one crew lead, and 4 people at concessions (1 of them for hot food). This wasn’t enough for last night. Plus there was an employee screening for spiderman at 10pm. My company does co workers i and I wanted to go. Due to the concession line going all the way to the entryway, everything was backed up. I worked at the bar and wasn’t able to leave until 11:06. Got to the screening half way thru.
My co workers who were scheduled to leave at 12:30am didn’t leave until past 1:15am ish.
Sn- I don’t think I’ll be ready for doomsday this December.

I told my friend how bad the job hunt is. She insisted there are more jobs than people out there. Even one of our mutual friends told her they applied to 50-60 places and didn’t hear anything back. She has a job that’s she’s been at for 20 something years. It seems like what I’m saying isn’t sticking.

I’m trying to decide if season 7 is worth the watch. What do y’all recommend?

I’ve been seeing lot posts and comments across sm about how they’ll never work out due to how Aniya is, how Carl deserves better, how someone better is gonna come along for him, how he likes her more than she likes him etc. especially the distance—when most of the couples live in different states. One of the couples in the core 4 live in different continents from each other and I dont see that many posts/comments about them not working out.
I get that they may not work out, but the amount of negative comments about their relationship/connection seems like a lot.

I love how we got conversations between both couples about making things work distance wise last night. And it was back to back scene wise 😭.

I just started watching this season and joined this subreddit and the other LI cookout sub. The way she is treated in these spaces vs the LI general sub reddit astound me.

I saw on twitter that her hair style was trending. I didn’t see anything wrong with it. It’s super cute and frames her face well 😭.

I worry about how Im going to survive in the world dat this point. My anxiety flares everyday and I cant do basic interactions without it kicking in. Im surprised I can leave the house and still go to work. Anything is more of a chore.

I bartend at amc. I had a parent ask me if she and her toddler could sit at the bar. I told her he’s not allowed to be here at the bar.
Had another lady bring her 16 year old to the bar while she was looking through the menu. I told her that her daughter is not allowed to sit here. She said she couldn’t leave her at the tables(in the common area) that are across from the bar. She brought the drink menu with her since her kid had to be attached at the hip.
