An Italian cafe,

a little home goods store,

and a laundromat next door.

Just a quiet little piece of everyday Brooklyn life.

[Part 1] A Quiet Day on a Brooklyn Street

This build was inspired by an Italian cafe

that used to be in my old Brooklyn neighborhood.

Nothing dramatic,

just a quiet everyday scene —

people having coffee,

eating,

talking,

and passing through the day.

Built in The Sims 1.

The Osaka House from Fatal Frame II in The Sims 1 — Part 3

The bath is one of those old wood-fired ones, where you heat the water the with firewood.

After exploring the house and taking a bath, the twins got hungry, so they cooked some soba noodles and had a little meal inside the haunted house.

Thanks for sticking around though Part 3!
This is the last one.

The Osaka House from Fatal Frame II in The Sims 1 — Part 2

I renovated the Osaka House
from Fatal Frame II
in The Sims 1 because
there’s only so much you can do
with limited CC lol

Fatal Frame II is a PS2
Japanese horror game,
and the remake came out
on Steam in 2026.

In the game, the player explores
the lost village, trying to find
a way out.
So I took the screenshots
to make it look like
my Sims were exploring
the house.

The original house is
supposed to be ruined,
but I renovated it so
my Sims could live there
a little more comfortably 😂

I created the Osaka House from Fatal Frame II in The Sims 1 — Part 1

Fatal Frame II : Crimson Butterfly (Project Zero II) just dropped its remake on Steam, and I’m absolutely obsessed with this game. I poured all that passion into recreating it in The Sims 1.

This is the Osaka House—the first place the twins explore after wandering into the "Lost Village."

I put so much effort into the details that I couldn't fit all the screenshots into one post, so here’s Part 1.

Take a close look at the very last photo. It’s that chilling scene where the sisters are finished exploring and about to leave the room, only for the older sister to whisper, "There's someone behind the door..."

I taught her “paw” as a joke, but now she does it so proudly and demands treats with the smuggiest face 🥹🐾

I built Kyo-machiya, a traditional Kyoto townhouse, in The Sims 1

Kyo-machiya is a traditional Kyoto townhouse.

It’s not just an old Japanese house.
It comes from Kyoto’s merchant culture,
with a narrow street-facing front
and a long, deep layout.

Inside, there is often a small courtyard garden,
known in Japanese as tsuboniwa,
which brings light and air into the house.

I tried to recreate that atmosphere
in The Sims 1.

Dark rum cocoa pound cake 1:12 scale

Made with Fimo
Dark rum cocoa pound cake 1.8 cm (0.7 in)
Cinnamon rolls 0.9 cm (0.35 in)

Sorry for the potato quality 😂
Made these in 2014 and photographed them with an iPhone 4s

My first shot at making 1/12 scale miniature croissants

I whipped up 1/12 scale miniature pastries!

The croissants were a total fail, though. They turned out a bit too chunky for my liking.

They're measuring in at 1.2cm (approx. 0.47 in), but honestly, I think they would’ve looked way sleeker if I'd kept them at a tight 1cm (0.39 in).

I used Fimo polymer clay for these.

I’m finally living amidst the bountiful harvest of the earth! God, what a faded, colorless world I was living in…

Now that I’ve wrapped up the main story, I finally installed ReShade.

In this video, I’m toggling ReShade on and off so you can see the difference for yourself.

Honestly, I didn't realize how faded the game looked before 😭

do you guys use Reshade too?
Any favorite presets?

How I Hit World Bazaar in Year 1 Summer — SoS: Grand Bazaar [Year 1, Spring 9–15]

Year 1, Spring Week 3
Days 9–15

[Trend]
• Gems
• Accessories
• White Dishes
• Mid/Large Spring Fish

This week is busy, but relatively easy.
The bazaar quest is simple, and since the Nature Sprites haven’t joined yet, I don’t need to share anything with them either.

Red Windmill quota:
• Tool upgrades
• Pickles
• Bouquets
• Windmill Tent
• Windmill Churn
• 15 Dyes
• 1 Black Necklace
• 10 Stone and 10 Lumber

Buy as many fodder seeds as possible from Miguel’s shop and sow them in the pasture.
210 fodder is needed for the bazaar.

Every day, collect medals around town, sell them at Miguel’s shop, and use that money to buy fodder seeds.

Since I only have one field, I have to use it efficiently.
Once I sow wheat and rice, I only have 4 plots left.

I keep rotating those 4 plots, and once more plots opens up, I immediately sow.

Day 9:
here is the video.
https://www.reddit.com/u/rt_yuzu/s/e5bLP52vJ3

After that:
• Once I harvest the pansies, sow 9 buttercup seeds.
• Once I harvest the flowers and potatoes, sow 18 onion seeds and 9 wheat or rice seeds.
• Once I harvest the buttercups, sow 9 wheat or rice seeds.

Starting this week, I switch to sleeping at 4:30 and waking up at 10:00.
I keep this schedule until the clear.
The only exception is Friday night, when I go to bed at 22:30.

During the day, I do farm work and collect medals, wildflowers, and herbs around town.

At night, I forage in the mountain, collect medals, wildflowers, and herbs around town, water the field a second time, and fish if I have time left.

If I have enough storage space, I keep fish for Finley.
Sharing starts next week.

Since my stamina gauge bar is still short and my tools are still low-level, I don’t recommend foraging in the mountain twice a day.
Once a day is enough.

I only process the bare minimum amount of wood, rock, and grass I need.
I save the rest for sharing with Ivy.

Don’t store them in regular storage.
Keep them in the red windmill instead.

Most of the processed items this time take a long time to craft, so I start making pickles, stone, and lumber as soon as possible.

It barely rains in spring, so I check the weather forecast and leave my chick and cow outside in the pasture.

As long as they don’t get caught in the rain, animals won’t get sick from staying outside.
Actually, their happiness goes up, and I can save on feed too.

Chickens lay eggs in the morning, so I keep the chicken in the barn.

Make sure to complete the bazaar quest by Friday.

[Spring 15]

Three shops open!
The Happy Shoppe is now open!

Starting today, I can use the Nature Sprites’ Cheer Squad.

Before opening my shop, hurry and go shopping.

The Happy Shoppe:
• Sprite Box: Bazaar

Rebecca’s Decor:
• Windmill Counter

Bazaar — Part 1

Use this part to fill up the Nature Sprite cheer gauge.
Sell as much fodder as possible.

Bazaar — Part 2

Sell all the leftover fodder from Part 1 and max out the cheer gauge.
Call 5 Nature Sprites and sell everything.

I got 100,000G!!

Okay, time for a shopping spree.

• Second field
• Cow & Chicken
• 90 Vinegar
• 30 Wheat Flour
• Seeds

I also need to buy fodder seeds, oil, salt, seeds, and other items from Miguel’s shop in town, so I make sure to save some money.

[Spring 16]

Reached Town Bazaar 🎉

u/rt_yuzu — 12 days ago

They’re a solid early-game money source!

You can collect this much in just 4 days.

In this video, I only picked them up once per day.
Coins reset at 17:00, the same as forageables, so you want to collect them twice a day.

Early on, sell the coins at Miguel’s shop and use that money for shopping.

My early-game recommendations are fodder seeds, oil, and salt.

Year 1 Spring, Week 2
[Spring 2–8]

[Trends]
• Gems
• Accessories
• White Dishes
• Mid/Large Spring Fish

[Spring 2]

Felix gives you the hoe, watering can, and 9 turnip seeds.

After that, explore the town and find 4 gold medals.

Check the usual silver coin spots, pick up coins around town, then sell them at Miguel’s shop.

With that money, buy 36 turnip seeds and fertilizer.

Plant 45 turnip seeds and 9 radish seeds.

Turnips can be harvested in 4 days, so watering them once a day is enough.

[Spring 3 onward]

Use the bath once in the morning and once at night to recover stamina.

Get these twice a day:
• Walnuts
• Wild flowers
• Herbs
• Ores
• Grass
• Wood
• Stone

Also, don’t miss the silver coins and coin mounds around town.

If you get lucky and get 3 copper ores, I recommend upgrading the watering can first.

The hatchet can wait until after that.

I completely ignore friendship in this run.
If I see someone, I just talk to them.
No gifts. Wild flowers are way too useful for perfume.

[Processing / Cooking]

Raise the turnips to quality 1.

Turn all turnips into Turnip Salad.

Turn walnuts into Walnut Juice.
Adding mint to Walnut Juice raises its quality by 1.

Turn all wild flowers into Floral Perfume.

[Spring 8 Bazaar]

To sell all 78 Turnip Salads, split them into stacks of 15.

Sell all the coins you collected too.

Start with the most expensive items first.

I sold everything out!

[Sales]

Bazaar Part 1: 27,659G
Bazaar Part 2: 23,729G

For week 2, you really want about 45,000–50,000G in sales.

Why?
Because there’s a lot to buy.

[My Shopping List]

• Double Jump
• Bag Expansion
• Storage Expansion
• Chick & calf
• Seeds: wheat, rice, flowers
• 5 wheat flour
• 50 vinegar

[Spring 9]
