The Free State of Prussia boasts a cadre of well-trained and highly experienced veteran front-line medics, often well-versed both in human and veterinary first aid. Many Prussian Combat Medics are former lay members of the knightly orders such as the Malteserorden, who still maintain hospices in memory of their original purpose.

Prussian Combat Medics of the Stosstruppen are selected from amongst the best and the most athletic in the entire Armed Medical Service. They follow the Lazarus Doctrine, a protocol which dictates that the priority of the krieg-sanitäter is to return soldiers to combat immediately, using any means at their disposal. The Free State has the most advanced chemical warfare programme in Europa, and it provides its Combat Medics with an excellent kit to get even the most severely wounded soldiers back on their feet and into the fray once more.

If the Earth and the history of humanity were a television series, what are some moments that would be seen as plot armor?

For example: The Rise of Hitler. Are you telling me that two of the most powerful nations in the world, the UK and France, didn't stop their old enemy from becoming increasingly powerful, and even allowed germany to expand their territories? Clearly, the writers were lazy and just wanted a villain for the World War I sequel.

They were clearly servants of the Prince of Greed

it isn’t uncommon for a Lazarist Prophet to direct their visions of calamity upon Christian settlements that have denied them alms, declaring them no better than sinners at the burning gates awaiting their turn at the yoke of the Court. They camp outside the walls of offending settlements in spiritual protest, exhorting sulfuric damnations through loudspeakers, capturing craven merchants and travelers who peddle to the blasphemers, and crafting towering monuments from the cracked millstones left by leper-pilgrims who have perished during their long and arduous protests. While some are satisfied with demonstration alone, some Lazarist Prophets will pick up arms and direct their pilgrims into the cities by force, sacking fellow Christians for their supplies and demanding the burdens of faith be shared amongst all

That little island keeps the home of all our hopes alive

War Cardinal Domenico Alidosi of the Papal States is a vigorous, charismatic and aggressive frontline commander. Under his supervision the Swiss Guard has seen a forceful expansion, including a large contingent of newly-raised Heavy Mechanised Infantry, Papal Air Force to ensure the sanctity of the Holy See and the expansion of the Holy Fleet. This combined Mediterranean Fleet is responsible for both maintaining naval parity with the Heretic Fleets as well as supplying the fortresses of Cyprus that protect New Antioch from seaborne assaults

Remove cyprus, like give it to the heretics, and good luck trying to send aid to new antioch, i wouldnt be surprised if it was the second most militarized faithfull nation, only behind new antioch itself

Turns out trying to go in a dick measuring contest against the royal navy is a bad idea

Context: in the early 20th century, Admiral Alfred von Tirpitz of the Imperial German Navy had a strategy to deter britain from challenging germany at sea, the Risikotheorie. Basically, he wanted Germany to build a navy powerful enough that Britain would hesitate to fight it, fearing that the losses would be so severe that Britain could lose its naval superiority.

Instead, Britain responded by building EVEN MORE ships. Obviously, this wasn't easy, and there were plenty of political and financial problems, but the British were determined not to let Germany gain the upper hand. By the outbreak of World War I, Britain had 29 dreadnought battleships and battlecruisers, compared with 17 for Germany. In fact, Britain had almost as many dreadnought-type capital ships as France, Germany, and Russia combined.

DC seeing how the jannis steal their jobs at killing sultans

Captured during raids upon the desolate northern and eastern marches beyond the Iron Wall, they are subjected to rigorous martial training and indoctrination from an early age. Through spiritual and alchemical means, bound by chains unseen, their minds are carefully conditioned until they attain a complete and unwavering loyalty to the Sultan, and to him alone.

Sources: their lore drop

In our world, the Janissaries killed/forced many sultans to leave power because they tried to implement reforms that could threaten the authority of the Janis, maybe this also happened in TC, but the new sultán decided they were to usefull to kill, so they Made them go throught the brain washing room so this doesnt happen again

It helped quite a lot

The Prussian Sacred Academy of Sciences is the foremost institution for advancements in chemistry, physics and engineering. Among its notable achicvements are the weaponization of chlorine gas for warfare and the development of ammonium fertilisers, which have spared the Faithful from starvation as their trade routes face increasing pressure from the Heretic flect.

What if the ussr invaded NATO and non NATO countries in mid 1980s?

Lets say a more radical soviet leader named john union takes power and decides that the best way to save the union is to invade everyone who doesnt follow moscow's orders, basically: everyone neutral and in nato, and they order the red army and warsaw pact to invade in total war, what then?

We will assume nukes, for x or y reason, wont be used, i know unrealistic, but lets say they are not used for the sake of this scenario

My theory as to why Constantinople remains destroyed after so many centuries is that there is a whole ass heretical domain whose sole purpose is to bomb the ruins of the city with artillery 24/7

u/sand_eater_21 — 14 days ago

The sultanate has two capitals, baghdad and new damascus, and its clear one is having a better day than the other

Like, new damascus is literally right next to two heretical domains and the gate itself, i wouldnt be surprised if it was the "new antioch of the sultanate" to say it like that

Atleast he tries to help

Johannes served for seven years in New Antioch before returning to his northern homeland hardened by war. Haunted by his experiences, he enlisted with the border forces and joined many others like him, who understand why return to civilian life is near-impossible. He is known for his near-suicidal bravery in long-distance patrols that have taken him ever-nearer to the Hellmouth itself.

His faithful steed, Hela, shows the terrible signs of corruption that plague all animals that stray too close to the Infernal gate. As with many steeds, Hela is festooned with holy symbols, as these are believed to keep evil at bay. The bond between the steed and the rider is often strong, and the Hakkapeliittas spend much of their meagre pay on holy icons and crucifixes, hoping to protect their loyal mounts from the influence of evil, as well as from the dreaded marbendill of the Path of the Beast, which stalk the forgotten grottos and swamps in the lands that have been claimed by the Heretic lords of the North.

What if YOU were the leader of the ussr in 1980, and had the task of saving the union?

Your objective is this: keeping the union alive, you will be healthy and in your early 40s, so dont worry about dying

Two scenarios:

  1. you know what we in the current day know

  2. you know only what the soviet leader and the soviet union would know in 1980

The only rule is that you keep the cold war going until 2000, then you can choose to gradually end it if you wish
