how’s everyone’s board prep going so far? and pls interact 😭 this sub has been dead asf lately
GUYS AM I BEING STALKED
So this random guy followed/texted me on Instagram and I asked him if he actually knew me because I had no idea who he was. He literally said no.
So I removed him from my followers because… why would I keep some random guy there 😭
Then he goes “you’re rude” and tells me that he knows where I live. At first I thought maybe he was just trying to scare me, but then he asked if I wear pink glasses.
I DO. And that genuinely freaked me out because how the hell would some random person who claims he doesn’t know me know that??
I checked his account and noticed he follows the same friend I usually come home with after classes. The weird part is he hasn’t even messaged her as far as I know.
I genuinely don’t know how he found my account or how he knows these little details about me. I obviously removed/blocked him, but now I’m kinda paranoid about whether this is just some weird coincidence or if he actually knows me somehow.
Has anyone dealt with something like this before? What should I actually do/check right now?
My male best friend secretly thought we were going to date and I found out in the worst way possible 😭💔 (TL;DR given)
okay i need to get this off my chest because this whole thing still sounds insane when i think about it 😭
i had this male bsf who was genuinely one of the closest people to me. he used to drop me to coaching, we'd hang out after classes and stuff, and i never saw him romantically. like ever. i had literally told him so many times that i hate relationships and don't want to be with anyone, so i thought we were very clear on that.
one day we were just roaming around on his scooty after class and it started raining like crazy. the roads were basically flooded so he told me to hold onto his arm so i wouldn't fall. i obviously did because ??? that's my best friend and we're close 😭 i thought absolutely nothing of it.
a day or two later i asked him for his fake account because i wanted to stalk someone's account. he gave it to me and even said i could use it. when i logged in, i noticed his main account was linked to it. and this is where i know i fucked up because i logged into his main too. i wasn't planning on going through his chats or anything, but i searched my own name because obviously curiosity killed the cat 😭
and bro.
i found out things i REALLY wish i hadn't.
there was this girl who was really close to him and he was always bitching about her to me, saying she was a pick me and that he didn't even like being around her that much. but i saw him talking to her about me and when she was making fun of him for always hanging out with me, he was calling me nerdy and stuff.
which already pissed me off.
BUT THEN i found conversations with his cousin and some other friends where he was literally saying that i was going to be his girlfriend soon and that he liked me and liked our vibe.
and he had apparently been romanticizing that whole rainy scooty thing and me holding his arm.
i was actually sick 😭 because the same person i'd been telling everything to and constantly saying "i don't want anything romantic, i hate fake people" was apparently telling other people that i was going to be his girlfriend while acting completely normal with me.
and the timing was genuinely horrible because it was literally friendship day. i had bought matching friendship bands for us and everything 😭💔
i cried so much that day because i genuinely trusted this person more than almost anyone.
i confronted him the next day and he tried explaining everything, sent me paragraphs, called me a bunch of times, even came to my coaching and near my house to talk to me but i wasn't ready to see him.
then he put "I'm sorry" in his instagram bio 😭
and that's basically how i went from having a male best friend who i trusted with literally everything to not talking to him anymore.
TL;DR: Found out my male bsf secretly liked me and told people I’d be his gf soon, while I thought we were genuinely just friends. Confronted him and stopped talking to him 😭💔
HELP!!
bro seniors/toppers pls give me a roadmap for boards 😭 im in PCM + CS and im pretty behind in basically everything except physics. maths and chem are especially bad rn 😭 what should i even be doing from now till boards? syllabus, revision, PYQs etc. pls help
Was this creepy behaviour or AIO?
Today I was coming home from coaching with my friend and I was honestly exhausted. I was wearing a normal T-shirt and jeans, my hair was a mess and I was sweaty, so I definitely wasn't feeling like I looked good 😭
Two guys on a scooty came up to us and the guy sitting at the back said “excuse me” and asked if we knew any library nearby. He was pretty polite and for some reason he was only talking to me, not really my friend. I told him I wasn't from that area but mentioned a library I knew near a certain place.
When we were about to leave, he complimented my outfit and asked where I got it from. I got awkward as hell and ended up giving some stupid answer before leaving 😭💔
He didn't say anything sexual or inappropriate, didn't try to touch me or get too close, didn't ask for my number or anything. He just asked about the library and complimented my outfit. He also looked around my age, maybe slightly older.
But my friend thought the whole thing was creepy and kept saying he was a creep. She also said that I'm basically a little girl and that I shouldn't be taking this stuff so casually.
Now I'm confused because to me it honestly just felt like a normal interaction, but maybe I'm overlooking something because I thought he was cute.
So what do you guys think? Was this actually creepy behaviour, or was it just a normal interaction?
5 months left and I want 95%+ is it even possible PCM with CS and I’m honestly freaking out a little because I’ve wasted a lot of time and now there are only around 5 months left for boards.
I’m in class 12 ISC PCM with CS and I’m honestly freaking out a little because I’ve wasted a lot of time and now there are only around 5 months left for boards.
My preparation right now is really bad. I’ve studied bits and pieces here and there but I don’t have a proper grip on most of the syllabus. Especially in PCM I have a lot of gaps and I can understand stuff when I study it but when I actually sit down to solve questions I get stuck. I also keep forgetting whatever I study because I’ve never really had a proper revision system.
I know 95%+ is a pretty high target considering where I am right now but I really want to try for it. I just don’t know how to go about it anymore. There’s so much syllabus and I also have school, practicals, English and CS to manage.
I’m thinking of properly starting from now and being consistent for the next 5 months but I need an actual roadmap because every time I make a timetable I either make it way too unrealistic or end up wasting time deciding what to study.
For people who have given ISC boards recently, what would you actually recommend doing if you were in my situation?
How should I divide these 5 months? Should I completely finish the syllabus first and then do PYQs or should I start PYQs alongside each chapter? How much time should I give each subject? Which books/resources are actually worth using for ISC? How important are PYQs and specimen papers? And when should I start giving full papers?
Also is 95%+ genuinely possible from this level in 5 months if I’m willing to put in the work, or am I being unrealistic?
I’d really appreciate it if someone could give me a proper roadmap, even if it’s just what you personally did. I’m not looking for “just study consistently” because I know that 😭 I just genuinely need to know what I should be doing from tomorrow onwards. tomorrow onwards.
i didn't know birthdays could make me feel so unwanted :)
My birthday is the day after tomorrow, and I was actually excited about it for once. I don't know why I let myself be.
My parents aren't really there for me, so my older sister is the only person I feel like I can depend on. And maybe that's why everything she does hurts me more than it probably should. She has her own life, her friends, people to go out with, things to enjoy, and soon she's going to have an entirely new life of her own. I'm happy for her, I really am.
But sometimes I look at her and wonder what happens to me when the only person I have has a whole world that doesn't really need me in it.
The worst part is that she makes me feel like I'm a burden sometimes. Like needing anything from her is annoying. Like I'm another responsibility she has to deal with instead of just her little sister. And I know she takes care of me sometimes, I know she loves me in her own way, which somehow makes it even harder to explain why I still feel so neglected.
I'm still a kid. I don't have my parents to fall back on, and I don't have anyone else I can really depend on. She's the only person I have, but sometimes she makes me feel like having no one would hurt less than constantly feeling like I'm too much for the only person I need.
And now my birthday is the day after tomorrow. I was genuinely excited. I think I just wanted to feel cared about for once. I wanted to feel like someone was happy that I was here and wanted to make me feel special.
Instead, I just feel stupid for expecting anything.
I think birthdays are especially cruel when they remind you that the people you wish would make you feel loved are the same people making you feel the loneliest.
I’ve procrastinated way too much and now I’m scared because boards are getting closer. Where do I even start?
I really need some advice from seniors or anyone who’s been in a similar situation because I genuinely feel like I’m falling behind.
I’m in ISC Class 12 PCM + CS, and I’ve been procrastinating my studies for way too long. My school doesn’t really teach much—we mostly waste time, so most students depend on coaching/batches. I’m one of them, but I’ve only had Physics coaching from the beginning.
Last week, I had my half-yearly exams for the entire week with no gap between exams. I got so overwhelmed that I barely slept at night and was surviving on afternoon naps. After the exams ended, I was completely burned out and didn’t study for another 3–4 days.
Now I know I can’t keep doing this anymore because boards are coming, and it’s already almost September.
The scary part is that I haven’t even completed a single full chapter in PCM, except for around two chapters in Physics. I know procrastinating further is only going to make everything worse, but I’m also so overwhelmed that I don’t even know where to start.
I’m not looking for someone to tell me “just study” because I KNOW I need to grind 😭. I genuinely want to know:
- Where should I start from at this point?
- How should I divide my time between Physics, Chemistry, Maths and CS?
- Should I focus on finishing the syllabus first or start doing questions alongside it?
- How do I actually stop procrastinating when I’ve already wasted so much time?
- Is my situation still realistically recoverable if I become consistent from September onwards?
- Any advice from ISC seniors who were in a similar situation would honestly mean a lot.
I’m ready to put in the work now. I just need some direction because right now the entire syllabus feels impossible to even look at.
Please be honest with me, am I actually screwed, or can I still recover if I start seriously now?
guys, have you ever slowly fallen for a girl before you even realized you had feelings for her? What was that like?
Like genuinely, do people still fall for each other without already knowing they’re interested?
I mean that thing where you slowly start getting flustered around someone without even understanding why.
You become weirdly shy around them, start caring about their feelings, notice little things about them, look forward to talking to them… and then one day you realize you actually have feelings for this person.
Not when you already know you like someone and then intentionally start flirting with them, acting shy, caring more, etc.
I mean when it just happens naturally. Neither person is really trying to make anything happen.
I’ve always wondered if I’ll ever meet a guy like that. Like maybe he’d like me but be way too anxious to actually tell me, so we’d just slowly get to know each other first. Become friends. Get comfortable. And somewhere along the way it turns into something more.
The awkwardness, the random nervousness, the glances, both of us pretending we’re completely normal when we’re obviously not 😭
And then eventually he finally gets the courage to confess and I find out he’s liked me this whole time and we just start laughing because all that anxiety was for NOTHING and we both felt the same way.
Idk why but that kind of love feels so much more genuine to me. Like neither of us went into it thinking “I want this person.” It just happened.
Maybe I’m romanticizing the hell out of it, but I really wonder if people actually experience love like this anymore and I want to experience it toooo omg
How do you grieve someone who is still alive?
My dad died by suicide in 2020. There wasn’t really any huge reason that I knew of. He and my mum had a small fight, and after that my mum went to her mother’s house for some time because she needed space and said she’d completely break down if she stayed at home.
I went with her. My two elder sisters stayed back with my grandparents. I lived with my mum for almost two years, but eventually I started feeling awful there and came back home. My mum never came back.
At first, we used to visit her every week. My sisters kept trying to convince her to come home, but she always said she’d feel trapped and depressed if she came back. Slowly, after so many arguments and so much frustration, we just stopped visiting as much.
She still loves me.
I know she does. She calls me, checks on me, tries to talk to me. But I barely reply anymore. I don't even feel the urge to talk to her. And that honestly scares me because I used to be the closest to her out of all my siblings. I literally never wanted to go anywhere without her when I was little.
Now I feel like I’ve lost her without her actually dying.
And my eldest sister is getting married soon. I’m happy for her, obviously, but I can’t explain how many emotions that brings up. She’s going to have her own life, and suddenly I’m realizing that the people I’ve had left after losing my dad and slowly losing my mum are changing too.
Sometimes I feel so fucking lonely.
The worst part is that I think I hate my mum sometimes. And then I immediately feel guilty for even thinking that because I know she has her own reasons. I know she’s hurting too. I know she probably isn’t trying to hurt us.
I just wish things had turned out differently. I wish I could still feel close to my mum without all this resentment between us.
I don’t even know what I want anymore. I don’t think I want her to come back now. But some part of me still wishes she would.
I just hope she’s okay. I really, really hope she’s doing fine.
How do students from financially struggling families afford BTech in Tier-2 colleges?
reddit.comIs taking a drop year after Class 12 a reasonable option in my situation?

I’m 17 and currently in Class 12 ISC with PCM + CS, but honestly, I haven’t studied properly at all till now. My family also can’t really afford expensive private colleges, so realistically, I feel like my main option is preparing for JEE and trying to get into a government college.
The problem is that I don’t think I can prepare properly for JEE alongside my boards at this point, so I’m considering taking a drop year after 12th and preparing seriously from scratch. Is taking a drop actually worth it in this situation, or am I making a bad decision? Is taking a drop year after Class 12 a reasonable option in my situation?
How are students from financially struggling families supposed to afford Tier-2 colleges for BTech in India?
This is something I’ve been genuinely worried about. If your family can’t afford ₹10–15+ lakh for a BTech, what are you realistically supposed to do? Do scholarships, education loans, or fee waivers actually make these colleges accessible, or is there some option I’m completely unaware of?
How likely is it that we’ll face another pandemic as deadly as COVID-19 in the near future?
reddit.comHELP NEEDED — ISC Class 12 Chemistry Half-Yearly Tomorrow 😭 What are the most important questions?
I have my ISC Class 12 Chemistry half-yearly tomorrow and I'm honestly in panic mode because I haven't prepared properly at all 😭.
My main chapters are:
- Electrochemistry
- Solutions
- Coordination Compounds
- Alcohols and Phenols
- Haloalkanes and Haloarenes
My teacher said that if someone only wants to pass, they should focus on Electrochemistry, Solutions, and Haloalkanes/Haloarenes, so I'm prioritising those three.
The problem is my teacher doesn't really ask straightforward/direct questions. He likes twisting concepts and asking application-based questions, so simply memorising definitions probably won't be enough.
PLEASE tell me what I should study tonight. 🙏
I'd really appreciate:
- Most important questions from these chapters
- Important reactions I absolutely need to memorise
- Important formulas + numerical types
- Commonly asked conceptual/tricky questions
- Important named reactions from Haloalkanes/Haloarenes and Alcohols/Phenols
- Any questions you think are very likely for an ISC Class 12 school half-yearly
- Any last-minute tips for getting enough marks to pass
Even if you have question papers, notes, important-question lists, or specific questions your teacher tends to ask, please share them.
I know I'm ridiculously late 😭 but I genuinely just need to scrape a pass tomorrow, so any help would be massively appreciated.
Thank you 🙏
