Does it ever occur to people that we could be the very same cops on duty doing that shit that we now despise ?

But almost always, during the initial stage of the struggle, the oppressed, instead of striving for liberation, tend themselves to become oppressors.

No this ain't ACAB but the moment I see people entrusted with law and order unleashing their force against unarmed protestors it makes me wonder if they try to keep their moral conscience intact or will let their masters guide them to do the horrifying things they do and that includes SAing woman who were on the site. The whole situation is deeply disturbing and idk how to make sense of this.

is porn watching feminist just an oxymoron as men's rights activist? how do y'all look at porn and the exploitation discourse?

no this ain't about OF or ethical porn but conventional and the main stream one.

had opted a different study centre in the application and want to know if I could change it now, it's only been a day.

what is the purpose of study centre and do I have to worry if it's not close to my current location?

and how do y'all get books? do we have to directly get them from the study centre?

just applied for MA Political Science and didn't realise I was opting for a much distant one.

The ballad of Wallis island is such a wholesome and heart warming film, wonder why it isn't talked about enough. Discussion

films like these just hit like you like a breath of fresh air in an afternoon day where you feel like doing anything and this film brings back the memories in the sequence of ebb and flow without completely letting you drown in the nostalgia of it and once it gets over you're left with this warm and wholesome feeling that just can't be put into words. all I care is it made me smile.

AITK for asking someone to not be casteist?so there's this post of someone having to face the wrath of a so called islamophobe & as a reaction she asked him to not sit with her, as he belongs to a caste lower than her and this is so assuming thinking how being equally reprehensible can be a solution

and yea being casteist is equally bad.

why is it that talking to people feel so hollow lately? like you have this preconceived idea that he/she could be great to talk to but once you start knowing them, it's actually the other way around. am i over expecting or people ain't interesting anymore???

you have this thing in your head that this person could be great to talk to after stumbling upon their profile but once you start to have a conversation it's quite the opposite, they end up saying ghastly shit which make you question your whole existence.

PS: texted my crush, he just turned out to be so bland and classist, casteist on top of it.

I sometimes ponder how parents who sent their daughters to girls colleges all along would react if she comes out as lesbian like it could be such a revelation even as a social experiment if not true. evaraina chesara ila???

I see parents being shit scared about sending their daughters to co-ed's thinking it would lead her to having a romantic interest and that giving rise to something else and how all this shit run in their heads with no reality check or whatsoever coz Indian parents can't stand their kids having an agency and autonomy to do the hell they want with their lives and it's much worse in case of women, even a normal conversation with a guy must be labelled as something and this is all so worse for people who went through hell in narayana ghettos,

idk someone should pull up this prank and surprise their parents about myriad sexual orientations and even otherwise this might help you introduce your potential bf at home.

sex is considered the pinnacle of human experience, so what keeps life exciting once you go past that stage? does one aspire for more greater things or just make peace with whatever he/she has and get into the vicious cycle of procreation and death??

marriage is the price a woman pays for sex and a man for cook said a great man once and all of this make sense considering how sexually regressive we are and how many of us still can't bring ourselves to break the barriers, date and choose them forever but beyond all this cacophony there's this excitement that doesn't die down until you have someone for yourself and do the shit but after that pelli, pillalu and everything, does life feel any less exciting and mundane? do people have anything in life to look forward to that's centred around themselves alone?

Just got to know that someone I know who's prepping for 7 long years is giving the next attempt as well and thought to myself how long? y'all veterans when do you think is the right time to exit and how imp is to have an exit plan?

Been in this stream long enough to see people giving up their prime years, growing apart from their friends and mugging up things while people of our age get to experience things in real and I ponder at what stage does it all start to seem overwhelming? coz I know my peers who're close to 30 and still prepping, for the love of god I wonder to myself what keeps them hopeful after all these years of grinding and having witnessing all this I decided that I have an exit plan predetermined rather than staying in this vicious cycle nonetheless what is it that keeps you going and when do y'all think it's the right time to bid a goodbye?

since telegram is back I'd like to reintroduce my proposition to create a psir group and anyone interested can reach out to me.

I'd like to clarify that this ain't going to be a responsibility group and not a full fledged psir group either, people can share even GS and other essay related things and if possible we can also discuss other interests if that has any substance to be incorporated anywhere in essays, so yea anyone fine with this can dm.

PS: this is a group for people appearing 2027.

why were the white people who were the supposed antagonists in the film were of Irish nationality and does them being of another origin change anything?

this film is culturally distant to me and i did not understand why they were irish and not american, idk what even at that time determines one being an american but yea even if it's about imperialism, why only irish men?

I'm wondering if I'm the only one who shipped harry and luna?? and even if not for this, there should've been more of her in the film given how refreshing her whole part was.

need some fanfics of them being shipped together if there's any, recos are appreciated.

my letterboxd diary and me watching 3 films a day is either a sign that I'm at peace or need some serious professioanl help and nothing in between.

sometimes I wonder if anyone stumbles upon on my diary and wonder how could someone be so jobless lol, but will it ever occur to anyone that i despise useless conversations and connections so much that i end up taking solace in my cinema.
