Any public places to safely sleep in car overnight?

So I was planning to make a solo excursion over to Kenosha from the Monroe area this weekend but failed to realize Lakefest is happening. I'd still like to make the trip, but hotels seem completely booked. Are there any public places near downtown where I could safely sleep in my car overnight from Saturday to Sunday and wouldn't risk any legal issues?

Great post by Democratic Party of Langlade County. This image should be shared by Democrats across the state.

Can we just let the voters choose, without all the insider manipulation?

Monroe, WI 50501 Movement is now Forward Monroe!

We are now Forward Monroe. We are still committed to speaking out against authoritarianism at all levels of government and championing progressive change. When the idea for a name change first came up, we wanted something that added the idea of "action" to our increasing focus on community building. Well, what better example than Wisconsin's own state motto! And resoundingly members of our private group voted in favor of this choice. We have great pride for this state's history of progressivism, and we will continue to act in that tradition through activism, mutual aid and social gathering.

Introducing Forward Monroe's new logo! This was designed to present our growing focus on community, while still paying homage to our prior activism and Wisconsin's progressive history. In this canton-esque coat of arms you'll find in the top right a pictogram of our City's iconic courthouse clock tower, reminding us of the place where this group first started gathering to speak out against authoritarianism. In the bottom left you'll see the three arcing arrows, a harkening to original anti-fascist symbolism of 1930's Germany. The crest is wrapped in a banner bearing our group's new name, inspired by the Forward banner on the Wisconsin state flag. All of these elements are dressed in a primary color scheme of Red, White and Blue, representing the core American ideals which we still strive to uphold.

Picked out my first tins over the weekend.

Stopped at World Market, after weeks of watching Tinned Fish Reviews on Instagram, I thought I’d try out a few myself. Just had the sardines with club crackers, and wow they were tasty! Hoping to have the trout on a salad, and open to tips on how to enjoy the tuna.
