How long does it take for compression stockings to reduce swelling?

I bought my first pair of graduated compression stockings and noticed a difference in my energy level from wearing them 4-6 hours for two days in a row, but I noticed no difference in swelling in my legs. I’m wondering how long it takes for swelling to go down. I had assumed it was hours, but I’m hoping I just assumed wrong. I bought 20-30mmHG stockings and think I may need to go down in compression due to pain in my veins and lots of little spasms throughout my legs from wearing them a few hours (I had wanted to wear them all day both days but has to take them off early both days due to the vein pain). Just wondered what other people’s experience is with improvements in swelling (and if anyone experiences vein pain as well). Thanks!

Recommendations for big and tall t-shirts similar to Carhartt Force flex

I really loved Carhartt’s Force Relaxed Fit Midweight t-shirts, but they’re now made with a thinner material and don’t look as nice as they did before. I liked these because they come in 2XLT and aren’t fitted but also don’t have too much extra fabric. Carhartt and Eddie Bauer have been my go-to for men’s big and tall clothing, but EB was bought out and seems to not be making new clothes now, and Carhartt is apparently lowering their quality. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Remote viewing memories

I’ve done some remote viewing in the past and had success with it but kind of forgot about it for a few years. I recently read that you can use remote viewing to remember things from the past that you’ve forgotten, and I’m curious how to do that. Thanks in advance!

High Platelets, MCAS, and Vein Pain

Reddit recommended I repost a post I made in another community here. It said this community would be a better fit, so I apologize if it’s not. I didnt get much response to posting this elsewhere. My question was if sharp pains that come and go in my blood vessels and veins are something I should be concerned about if I have high platelets. I’ve had high platelet counts off and on for decades. I believe it is due to my Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. Many years ago, it was so bad that my blood would clot off the line when having my blood drawn. My doctor at the time sent me to a hematologist who was stumped, but no one ever addressed the issue of my blood clotting or having vein pain. I’ve complained to multiple doctors about pain in my veins and blood vessels as well as my veins bursting at times (it always happens during a big MCAS flare, is excruciatingly painful, and creates big hematomas), but they never said anything about what it meant or what I should do. I went a few years with decent labs, but my platelets were high at my last physical back in the spring (not sky high like they’ve been in the past, though). But the past few weeks I’ve been having big MCAS flares (hives, headaches, fatigue, diarrhea, afib episodes, joint pain) and pain in my veins and blood vessels again. My question is should I be concerned about the sharp pains that come and go or the high platelets, and is there anything I can do about this? Thanks!

High Platelet Counts and Pain in Veins/Blood Vessels

I’m wondering if high platelet count with MCAS is something I should be concerned about. I’ve had high platelet counts off and on for decades. I’ve complained to multiple doctors about pain in my veins and blood vessels as well as my veins bursting at times (it always happens during a big MCAS flare, is excruciatingly painful, and creates big hematomas). When I’ve told doctors, they don’t seem concerned and treat me like I’m overreacting. I went a few years with decent labs, but my platelets were high at my last physical back in the spring (but not sky high like they’ve been in the past). Getting filter to fit this shower head

I bought a water filter for my shower head, but it doesn’t fit onto the pipe. There is no brand name on the shower fixtures, but the shower head pipe says “SUS 304.” I’m wondering if maybe it’s Japanese and has different fitting sizes?? Any suggestions of how to get this water filter to work or what I need to look for would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Can overuse/misuse of antihistamines in childhood cause histamine problems in adulthood?

Curious if anyone has heard of overuse/misuse of antihistamines in childhood causing histamine problems or even MCAS in adulthood. I’m referring to antihistamines being given too often and even when not needed (like as a preventative or when something else was going on that was mistaken for allergies).

Companies who don’t use AI

Is there a website or list of companies refusing to replace their work force with AI and chat bots? I’ve tried searching this answer, but I’m assuming google is hiding the results I’m looking for. I want to support companies that value their human employees and their customers (and also don’t want to destroy the environment with data centers). As I’m sure many people have, I’ve had numerous bad experiences with being unable to get basic support for egregious errors because companies use useless chatbots and AI phone agents. Some of the worst experiences I’ve had have been with Adobe and Ikea where the AI agent wasted hours of my time by making repeated errors and arguing with me that they were not a bot or AI despite the bot saying bizarre things.

I just wondered if anyone knew of a list or could share the names of companies they know don’t use AI. Thanks!

I received these sheets in the mail. While unpacking them, I noticed they smelled like a smell I hadn’t come across in a long time—like an old, musty dentist’s office. Then I found these stickers all over the sheets. From what I’ve read, they should have a spicy mustard oil smell, and they release vapors to prevent mold growth. The sheets don’t have a mustard oil smell, just weird mustiness. Is this just a thing companies do now to sell bedding thats already been exposed to mold? They were expensive sheets from Macy’s.
