Can we have "Mute Evasion Warning" in mod mail?

People just keep creating new accounts to harass mods in mod mail. Ban evasion warning doesn't do anything since the new accounts never post or comment.

Full bars of LTE signal with no internet

Traveling in Maine. There are spots where I get full bars of LTE signal but with zero internet access (LTE with an exclamation mark). Why is that?

I am OK with slower speed but it's ridiculous to have absolutely nothing.

Recurring transaction insists using old bank account

I switched bank and waited till the new transaction to appear from the new bank. Deleted the old recurring transaction with the old bank. Marked the new one recurring.

Guess what? The new recurring transaction is still with the old bank. Tried multiple times. All the same.

The whole recurring feature is beyond frustrating to use.

Ghana's Abu Trica extradited to US charged with 'scamming elderly Americans'

>A Ghanaian social media influencer known as Abu Trica, whose real name is Frederick Kumi, has been extradited to the US to face trial for allegedly running a romance scam that defrauded elderly Americans of over $8m (£5.9m).
>
>He denies all the charges against him.
>
>Prosecutors said he used AI tools to create fake online identities, targeting victims through social media and dating sites, earning their trust then extorting their money.
>
>Kumi was flown to the US on Thursday and faces up to 20 years in prison if found guilty of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering.
>
>Kumi's lawyer, Oliver Barker-Vormawor, told the BBC he went to court on Thursday to stop the extradition before learning a short while later that Kumi had in fact already been extradited on board a Delta Airlines flight.
>
>Barker-Vormawor accuses Ghana's government of sidestepping "judicial oversight" by allegedly not waiting for the court's verdict, and says their decision to extradite Kumi "raises profound constitutional questions".
>
>The Ghanaian government has yet to comment.
>
>Kumi had long flaunted luxury items online to his more than 100,000 Instagram followers.
>
>This raised suspicions about the sources of his income.
>
>US prosecutors say victims were allegedly targeted through social media and online dating platforms, lured in via frequent and intimate conversations.
>
>This would escalate to "requests for money or valuables under false pretences - such as urgent medical needs, travel expenses or investment opportunities".
>
>The monies, or valuables, were then directed to co-conspirators posing as third parties. Kumi allegedly distributed the money to his associates in the US and in Ghana.
>
>Kumi, who is from the town of Swedru in southern Ghana, was arrested in a joint Ghana-US operation last year.
>
>There is some disagreement about Kumi's true age, with his lawyer saying he 28 years old and US prosecutors saying he is 31.
>
>The case is being prosecuted under the US Elder Abuse Prevention and Prosecution law.
>
>US authorities have in recent months stepped up their crackdown on criminal networks operating in the US and West Africa who seek to defraud elderly Americans.
>
>Last week, extradited Ghanaian fraudster Joseph Kwadwo Badu Boateng - popularly known as Dada Joe Remix - pleaded guilty in the US to using romance and inheritance schemes to defraud Americans.
>
>In December, a court in the US also sentenced Oluwaseun Adekoya, a Nigerian ringleader of nationwide bank fraud and money-laundering conspiracies, to 20 years in prison for laundering over $2m.

Did we just lost the ability to create text post with inline images?

I see the post type is now auto selected. Whenever I paste a copied image, the post automatically switch to image/gallery type. Even after there are already text in the post.

This takes away the ability to create text post with inline image. Is this a bug?

Mod queue gets slower and slower

Does anyone also experience slow down when you use the mod queue for a while? If I stay on mod queue page and have all four columns (tools, queue, post, and user), after a while it slows down noticeably when clicking at a new item in the queue. The post and user will take a second or two to load. A refresh of the page fixes it and they load instantly.

This happens after I click through a dozen or two items in the queue, or switch between need review and other queue types.

I thought it's caused by some extensions. But it's the same without any enabled extension. So it's the page itself.

I am using Chrome on Windows 11.

Linking external accounts end in "Not found" error

I tried to link accounts in other banks using "Link an external account" link at the bottom-left corner of my portfolio view page. I want to be able to view and track my other accounts, not to move assets.

I've tried Citi Bank and Schwab. Both failed the same way: After finished login and selecting accounts on other banks' page, it tried to bring me back to Fidelity but ended up in a blank page with "Not Found" in it.

Again. I am not linking accounts to move assets. I've done that. This is to view other accounts in Fidelity.

Do the rear wheels of AWD EVs and hybrids contribute to regenerative braking?

My guess is no or very few of them but can't find anything talking about this.

ETA: I meant do they recharge the battery when braking?

Android introduces fake call detection to stop deepfake scams

Google added a feature to verify calls from your contacts are actually from whom they say they are.

>When a contact calls you and you’re both using Phone by Google, their device sends a silent confirmation signal in real time to your device to verify the call is legitimate and truly coming from the contact’s device.

>If a scammer tries to impersonate your contact, that initial confirmation signal will be missing. Your device will instantly notice this and ping your contact's actual device to double-check. If their real device says, "I'm not making a call right now," you'll get a warning on your screen advising you to hang up immediately.

You and your contacts will need to have Phone by Google as the dialer app.

I assume the callers must be already in your contact list and have RCS messaging between you and them.

Problems opening shared account

I am trying to open a cash management account shared with my wife. And I can't get it to work.

  1. My wife's legal given name has a hyphen in it. Like Mary-Jane Jones. The website insists on making the name after the hyphen her middle name (Mary Jane Jones).
  2. I tried removing the hyphen but the site just outright ignore the second part of the name and insists her name is now Mary Jones.
  3. I misclicked the link to create individual account. And now I can't get back to share account creating at all.

This is quite frustrating.

Shared cash management account?

If I open a CMA shared with my wife, will she be able to access it with her Fidelity login? We both have retirement accounts with Fidelity and have separate logins.

Thanks.

[Windows, Chrome] Enabling auto fill on Reddit causes pauses between pages

I am seeing random but frequent pauses between page loads on Reddit when auto fill is enabled. Have to block reddit.com to get rid of them.

I read about stuttering on YouTube (https://github.com/bitwarden/clients/issues/17090) and this seems to be the same kind of issue.

BW extension info:

Version: 2026.4.1
SDK: 'main (aaccd8d)'

[Chrome] Mod mail: sorted by "unread" is useless

After go back from a message to the list, it's not updated as read and still sorted to the top.

The only way to update it's read status is to refresh the page, which goes back to the default "recently updated" sort.
