RCBC Flex Visa

Hi, is this legit lol. I was surprised how fast the approval was when my first cc U-Mastercard just turned 5 months old. I applied around 1pm, got the confirmation email and text around 1:40 pm, and received this text 8:52 pm???

I did not receive an approval email but did on text.

Would I be given a tracking and all after this? Would I know my limit or do I have to wait for the card delivery.

BTS KL&SG Concert Trip asa Student. Would I be flagged?

Hi! I am currently employed. I’ve been a working student for almost 4 years now, since 2022. I have finally decided to take a break from work for a few months to focus in school until first quarter 2027 (to finally graduate after underload sems due to work) with a planned last working day on September.

Before that, I have a trip to Vietnam for a week in August which I would be still employed. Not a first time traveler, been traveling since 2017 in SEA countries and had my fair share of family and solo trips since I had been employed.

I’m getting there, sorry. But because I already have a timeline for my resignation, I have been working hard to complete my emergency funds while unemployed and even my travel funds have been set aside. So before I do officially become unemployed in 2-3 months, I should be all set financially for the year.

I don’t know if this context would be helpful but , I am the youngest in the family and so I don’t have responsibilities yet but I do give my share for food and bills. Hence, the opportunity to really set aside money for my plans. While I am unemployed, my brother offered to shoulder the house expenses and my sister in Singapore pays for my education. (Both parents deceased). I will still be giving a few here and there but not as much as now that I am employed.

But technically, I am funding my trips.

Eto na talaga hehe. After Vietnam, I still have another trip by December. Ceb-KL-SG-KL-Ceb. This is for BTS Concert. I will be attending in KL for the first weekend, followed by SG show. I am wondering if I will be flagged for being unemployed even when main purpose of travel is for a concert. I should be able to present my school ID, study load, financial documents from my savings, credit cards, etc. when asked.

Travel history-wise, been to KL in 2017 and been back and forth in SG for 6 times since my sister is there and I usually go visit her, alone or with family throughout 2017-2024.

Should I be worried? 🥹 I can’t postpone my resignation any longer for school huhuhu. I have had travels as a student before but on a family trip or if not, sponsored by my sister but I was younger then 😅

I know I said a lot but I really am just anxious. This is my first time flying possibly as an unemployed individual and a student. But I have been waiting over 10 years to see BTS huhu. So far, wala naman ako prob with Cebu Immigration but, we don’t really know kasi.

Hotel Recommendations in KL?

Need help with hotel or stay recommendations near TM National Stadium.

One of the cheapest options I see is Marvelot but is it too far from the stadium. I can save up a lot on the costs for accommodation but, is it though? I worry I have hard time with transportation instead.

Marvelot Hotel

Hi, I see that Marvelot Hotel is one of the cheapest options to stay but I want to check in if it is too far from TM National Stadium in Bukit Jalil?

I was thinking we might save in accommodations cost but would we be costing more for transportation? I will be attending BTS concert in December and would like to know your thoughts? 😅

Any alternative suggestions would be appreciated.

solo travel cam recos?

hi, i will be going on a trip soon and would love to hear your thoughts for a beginner and budget friendly cameras to use.

i had been using my iphone 17pro and would like a more compact option when traveling. a plus if there’s a screen for selfie shots!!

Im not necessarily using it for a vlog, but just personal documentation of the trip. i can use my phone for the photos but, videos on scenery or just the whole experience in general on another cam, perhaps?

i have been watching so many vids lol and im getting more confused as the minute passes.

tyia!

Considering Miles+ or Rewards

Hi! As fairly new cc user, tips po on how I should proceed? My first cc is U-Mastercard po which I realized sana nag Rewards muna ako. Well, too late for that 🥲 This was approved Feb. 2, 2026 this year with 45k CL.

This was followed by BPI Amore Cashback approved on April 11, 2026. BPI is my payroll and this was an unplanned application 😅 But with 20k CL. I use this on everyday expenses, yung small buys plus grocery because of cashback feature.

However, nasasayangan ako kasi my big spends dun napupunta U-Mastercard kasi malaki limit and lifestyle-wise, I’m a concert goer and strive to at least have two international trips a year or at least major local travel.

I’ve used the U-Mastercard for my Vietnam bookings, BTS con purchases, SG and KL bookings without points or rewards hehe. And I’ve practiced paying my statements in full since starting my CC journey.

I was initially eyeing the UB Rewards, but then after careful thought, I’m leaning now to UB Miles+. My dilemma lang right now is the min income req is at 360k annual but my annual income is only at 336k at this time. (Which I’m hoping with next month’s annual increase might bump me to exactly 360k or worst case scenario, a few hundreds or thousands short)

Is applying on my 6th month too early or should I wait a year? Should I just aim for the Rewards card where pasok yung income ko may pag-asa kaya for Miles+?

Medyo mahaba-haba na sya. Sorry, and thanks po sa sasagot!!

Miles+ Unionbank Application

Hi po! I have a 5-month old U-Mastercard. (My first cc) I have been eyeing the Miles+ because I love to travel at least twice a year internationally. But, my current annual income falls a bit short at 336k from 360k requirement ni Miles 😭

Is there a chance na ma approve for it if I apply after 6 months or a year from the approval of my U Platinum Mastercard?

PS: I’m also waiting for my company’s annual appraisal by next month so I might meet the reqs soon or if not fall short ng mas konti 🥲 (Manifesting malaking raise hihi)

What do you think po?

UB Credit Card Advice

Hi po! Question. I have a U Platinum Mastercard with 45k CL, and this is my first CC po which I got first week of Feb this year.

I have been eyeing the Rewards CC and the U Platinum Visa but as a new CC holder, I want to ask what is the safest timeline for me to apply for another card? Hindi ba sya magiging shared limit?

To those na may multiple cards, tumaas po ba offer ni UB sa inyo kahit wala naman masyado changes sa annual income nyo but considering meron na cc history? 😅
