Is 400ms on average TTFB a good result for a Woocommerce website?

I've been slowly optimizing my website, and noticed TTFB is a huge issue. I've activated OpCache which improved my server response time greatly, and got to around 400ms average TTFB. Sometimes it stays on around 200ms, sometimes it jumps to 600. Out of around 30 measurements the average result was +-400ms.

I'm trying to find a caching plugin that will improve the situation, but somehow the caching has only made things worse for me before. Using WP Optimise i got worse results that without it...

Is 400ms TTFB okay, for now? (While I'm looking into catching plugins that will actually help instead of making things worse)

Surface Laptop Studio 2 stuck at 0.40 GHz after connecting to Surface Dock 2

Yesterday I was playing The Sims 2 on my Surface Laptop Studio 2 while running Linux and using battery power. The game had no mods, so it was not a particularly demanding workload. Later, I connected the laptop to a Microsoft Surface Dock 2. I do not remember whether the game was still running at that exact moment, but shortly after connecting the dock, the laptop started throttling heavily.

Since then, the CPU has been stuck at around 0.40 GHz. The laptop is not overheating, and the temperatures look completely normal. I restarted Linux several times, then booted into Windows, but the problem was exactly the same there. I also tried shutting the laptop down completely and turning it back on multiple times, but nothing changed.

I tried holding the power button for 30 seconds while the laptop was switched off, then waiting a few seconds and turning it back on. I also disconnected the charger and dock, held Power and Volume Up for about 15–20 seconds to enter UEFI, changed nothing, and selected Exit and Restart. After that, I booted into Windows without the charger connected and plugged it back in later. Neither method helped.

The throttling now continues even when the Surface Dock 2 is disconnected. Since it happens in both Windows and Linux and the laptop is not hot, I suspect it may be related to the firmware, embedded controller, power detection, or possibly a stuck throttling flag.

Has anyone experienced something similar with a Surface Laptop Studio 2? What else should I check or try?

*These are my girlfriends words as this laptop is hers. I'll be grateful for any suggestions on what to do

Just started playing, really enjoying the game so far

Perfomance isn't perfect but it is manageable, the game feels kinda rushed in some aspects, but remains a very enjoyable experience nonetheless (for me atleast). Cutscenes and combat encounters during story missions feel very thought out and straight out of a movie. Haven't encountered any bugs except visual ones like reflective surfaces flickering. It's a shame i won't be able to enjoy a third game when it arrives cause of Sony politics shift, however i am grateful for the opportunity to experience some of the PS gems i always wanted to play. Insomniac's Spider Man games were one of these games.

Audi Q4 etron loud bang after pressing accelerator pedal for the first time

Hey everyone. I've noticed a weird issue my car is having lately.

It's most prevalent in humid weather where big temperature drops during the night are present.

If my car was stationary for 1-2 days and there has been a huge weather drop during the night, after i start the car and press acceleration (either in D/R, doesn't matter), the car makes a loud bang then begins moving. I don't notice a significant resistance on pressing the pedal, maybe a small one. After one bang it's gone and everything is normal. If i drive the car daily it doesn't happen, or if the weather is more stable and less humid.

Is it okay or should i get the car checked? I've noticed that some people have had issues with this too

Is it safe to make a Google Pay API integration (button) using AI with my corrections?

Hello everyone. I live in a country where Stripe or any other big payment provider isn't supported, and there are no easy plugins to add direct Google Pay button to my website.

I already have a payment gateway specific to my country. It has a separate payment page to which customer is redirected to from checkout after choosing this payment method.

However, i feel like I'm losing customers with this, people need a quick payment butto that i want to add both to checkout and to the product page. I've looked into API documentation of my payment gateway. They do work with Google Pay API and provide a detailed guide on how to do it. I'm actually pretty bad at coding but it doesn't look that complicated. Is developing a test version on a test page with AI safe? I'll switch to a working version once it will fully work, + I'll need Google approvement anyway to get a working version.

Weird GPS issue with Pixel 10 Pro XL

Hello everyone. I've been having this weird GPS issue with my phone.

I live in Ukraine, and we constantly get air raid alerts. Once it's on, all GPS in the region is turned off. Either it's completely off, or it fets spoofed to Lima, Peru.

Once air raid alert stops, gps is back on immediately. Lima location spoofing is also turned off.

On every phone, and i mean every phone - Samsung, Iphone, Xiaomi, as soon as gps is turned on in the region, it starts working in the phone. On my Pixel it never starts working on it's own. After the GPS turns on my phone follows 2 examples:

  1. GPS doesn't turn back on, but a simple reboot gets it working again.

  2. GPS doesn't turn back on, and one reboot doesn't fix this issue.

I've found only one way of fixing the second issue. No amount of changing GPS settings and clearing Google Services cache helps, just rebooting the phone until GPS starts working again works.

I've downloaded the GPS tracker to check how many satellites my phone sees. It usually follows a curve:

1-10 reboots: phone starts seeing 1 satellite. No GPS available. Sometimes phone may even see 2-3 satellites, but it will quickly revert back to 0-1 satelites.

10-20 reboots: phone starts seeing 2-3 satellites. Sometimes it jumps to 4-5. GPS MAY start working at this point, but usually it takes more reboots to get it to work.

20-30 reboots. Phone starts seeing 4-5 satellites constantly. After another reboot it jumps from 5 to 50 satellites and GPS turns on, finally.

I've been wondering what causes this issue and why only like 20-30 consecutive reboots of the phone work. Maybe Google stores my location cache somewhere, and gets confused when the GPS is off, or the location spoof to Peru works? It's genuinely the ONLY phone that has this issue for me. I have another Xiaomi work phone and it works fine. My friends have iPhones and Samsung phones and they work fine too.

How difficult is Insanity?

I've completed the game for the first time today. It was so good, it immediately made me want more. The hardest difficulty i've played in any RE game before (I played through 2,3,4 REMAKES and 5) was Hardcore- i'm a pussy. I'm wondering how difficult would insanity be. Would it be too difficult for a casual like me?

How realistic are WLF trucks?

I know, this is a videogame about zombies, but i still had one question on my mind. How realistic is that the WLF is able to run all these trucks years after the apocalypse?

There are 5 major oil refineries in Washington, but they are all pretty far away from Seattle. From what i understand, they mostly rely on imported oil (Alaska, Canada etc). They probably had a lot of fuel left in the storage tanks, but is it really enough? Even if we exclude how gasoline goes bad pretty quickly.

I know that this game is fictional and and should be viewed this way, if it were fully realistic it would be boring (no guns because very hard to make new ammunition and no cars because there is almost no way to refine more fuel), but this is one question i was curious about after playing Abby's part of Seattle. WLF does seem to use a lot of big ass trucks every day. Ellie sees a huge convoy on Day 3 too.

Some advice neeeded on "Help required popup"

I have a small circled popup which opens a small dialogue window onclick, offering people to contact my store on viber, telegram etc if they need any help with the order or the product. I have made a couple of rules when it shows up:

  1. It never shows up on the first page the customer ever visits. The countdown starts after the customer visits his 2nd page

  2. It doesn't show on technical pages like account pages, thanks for the order or the rule pages

  3. It only shows up if the customer had spent 20 seconds on the page.

What other rules should i implement? I don't want the customer to feel like this popup is annoying or is too intrusive. I've thought about including it after getting a few emails from people asking for help with something product-related.

Should i separate my 2.4, 5 and 6ghz networks?

Hello everyone. I’m pretty new to networking.

My situation is this: I can’t connect my PC to the router with an Ethernet cable. The cable was installed inside the walls when the building was built, but it seems to be lost or disconnected somewhere between the router and the room where my PC is. I also don’t want to run a new cable across the whole floor, because it would look messy.

I recently bought a tri-band router. It gives me around 200–300 Mbps over Wi-Fi, which is good enough for me and much better than the ~15 Mbps I was getting before. However, during latency-sensitive tasks like gaming, the connection becomes very unstable. My ping fluctuates a lot, sometimes up to 200–400 ms, which is too high.

Right now, I have found a temporary workaround. I have a TP-Link Powerline kit: one adapter is connected to an Ethernet cable in another room where the wired connection works properly, and the other adapter is connected to my PC. This gives me around 80 Mbps, but it is much more stable than my Wi-Fi. However, I don’t want to leave this as a permanent solution.

At the moment, I have one Wi-Fi network with Smart Connect enabled. Would it make sense to separate it into three different SSIDs for 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz, and connect my PC only to the most stable one?

Cars should matter more in 2026 DLC

I'm fairly new to this game and F1 in general, but i feel like the Team should matter more in driver ratings.

My grand prix races almost always follow the season pack rankings with some exceptions. It's weird seeing Kimi struggle to hit the Q3 or to get any points at all, should be like this.

Custom order status plugin

Hey everyone! I find default Woocommerce Order Statuses pretty lacking. I have a shipment plugin ready to automatically update order status depending on the shipment information and send the emails to customers etc, i just need the custom order statuses to exist to back it up. Im scared of doing anything in code snippets since it's a core Woocommerce option and i already have a lot of orders existing on my website that i want to keep. Any recommendations? I just need to create like 3-4 custom order statuses like "Preparing for shipment", "Shipped", "Parcel arrived" etc. Thanks in advance.

I'm new to F1, looking for some tips

I've recently bought an F1 25 after taking an interest in F1 in general. NEVER before have i played a racing game.

What I've seen when i started playing is that this game is VERY beginner friendly. With some assists I've been able to finally finish my races and get decent places and even some wins against beginner AI (Lvl 30).

I'm writing this post to understand the learning curve of this game. Right now i have full traction assist, automatic gear shifting, automatic ers and drs. I'm thinking of playing more, becoming more confident with the assists i have now, and then turning them off one by one and increasing the AI difficulty.

What assists should i turn off first? Is there like a series of video guides on ers, drs and other stuff like different types of tires explained, since i only have a vague idea of how all these things work (I've only watched a couple of my first grand prix). Thanks in advance.

Sentinel 9 is my GOAT

After playing the game through on Normal with a Red9, i must say Sentinel 9 is much more enjoyable on a Hardcore replay. It's just so satisfying to get 3 head pops in one shot in a row man...

Woocomerce wishlist and coupons management

Hey everyone. I'm fairly new to woocomerce. I managed to build a good clothing website on the outside, but it's very lacking in conversion department. I'm looking for good plugins to manage lost carts, wishlist items, also a subscription to sales/new products on the store etc.

I'm sorry if my question may sound a bit stupid, I'm really new to site building and it already took me ages to build a snappy and visually appealing website, so I'd be grateful for any help, even for pointing me in the right direction.

[FNV] Question on Linux modding

Hey everyone. I want to mod Fallout New Vegas on Linux (Steam Deck OLED). I'm NOT an experienced Linux user at all, and I don't have a lot of experience in modding?

Can i mod my game on my Windows PC in MO2 and then transfer the installation to the Deck somehow? I know it's possible between Windows PCs, but is it possible to transfer from Windows to Linux? I feel like it would be the best course of action since i already have modded the game on my Windows PC. Maybe someone here has experience of doing this? I'm very thankful in advance.

This challenge sucks

It topped the Gambler 8 challenge from RDR2 for me. 2 hours lost on this bs, it seems that sometimes the game is rigged for my opponents to have slightly better cards than mine. Also the fact that you can't bet higher than the pot when you actually HAVE a good hand sucks too and prolongs the game.

I've recently purchased RE4 Remake. To be clear, i never played the original so i don't know how it was back then. I've completed the regular game and loved it.

I'm playing through Separate Ways DLC now and it's really good. However I'm really annoyed of the constant yellow paint smeared all over the place. Somewhere it's not as blatant, but in a lot of places it's everywhere. Separate Ways is very linear, and on the screenshots i displayed there is only ONE path forward, and yet it is still highlighted by copious amounts of yellow paint. Maybe it feels more annoying in Separate Ways since it's more linear than the main game and the yellow paint is usually very visible since there's only one available path.

I feel like an option to turn it off (like in STALKER 2) would be a great addition to the game since sometimes it really feels like an insult towards players intelligence.
