My labs are stable and i am not leaking protein yet. Only intermittent hematuria. So i came to this trip. But my dark urine episode has completed ruined my head, my excitement.
It is Saajan for me! It just brings something special which I cannot just pin-point. The atmosphere, outfits, songs, acting, the setting. Everything is beautiful!
I am very confused about these beverages -

- black coffee
- tea
- beer
- lemonade
I regularly face challenges choosing any as these are present almost all the time in any social gathering.
M25. I was always of the opinion that I would never indulge in relationships. That I can live alone. One of the reasons was that I rejected myself for any woman because I’m short. I used to go the hookers and thought that’s the only way I will get affection.
Fast forward to now I recently got diagnosed with igan an autoimmune disease that affects kidneys. And the coincidence is that I happened to find this one amazing girl at work just at this ugliest time in my life where I now have chronic igan and past of hookers (though I am clean with all tests).
There were times when she came near and started random talks and the two deal breakers that I have now started flooding in my head. I can’t even bring myself to exchange regular greetings with her because I know I will fall for her if I talk to her.
Two big deal breakers. I never thought I would happen to find a woman I would start liking! Life is a fucking movie really! And it did me too wrong.
I like clubbing, but this igan has made this a challenge. I cannot have beer anymore. What foods are your go to when you do outings?

My gfr is above 100, no proteinuria (only hematuria) and no abnormal potassium levels. But my new dietician told me to remove potatoes whereas my nephro told me I have normal kidney function I can eat them. But when i reintroduced potatoes when my nephro said, i could feel morning fatigue and morning puffy fingers again. So just want to ask could potatoes be the reason?
25M diagnosed in February after one and a half year of symptoms which was cola urine episode otherwise dark-ish urine.
It is always depressing when I get the dark urine episodes. It is an abnormality that has crushed my personality and confidence. I feel as if something inside of me bursting.
My biopsy caught it at mild stage and no proteinuria. But in my case hematuria is going to be my progression factor.
My symptoms (cola urine) first started after a gym session and my nephrologist does say that rigorous training strains kidneys. So I attributed my first hematuria to the gym session.
My muscle gains have lowered after I stopped gym 20 months ago since it triggered my symptoms for the first time. I miss having my clothes tight over me lol. I am now hesitant to go to the gym.
Let alone the fact that doctor limited my protein intake to 0.9g per kg. With lower protein intake, wouldn’t working out just make me lose weight?
How is it with you?
I get dark yellow-ish urine often and mostly it’s clear.
I sometimes get this dull flank pain and at that time I get brown urine. Is this a flare?

Hematuria started 20 months ago. And across this period, urologist did battery of tests - ct urogram x2, urine cytology x2, cystoscopy, all tests were negative.
At the end a nephrologist saw my string like tiny red specks and said I need a kidney biopsy and it turned out to show IGA deposits haas class 1.
Has anyone had these tiny red specks in urine?
Male 25.
I am 19 months in since my symptoms first started (cola urine after a gym session] and 3 months in since my diagnosis of igan HAAS class 1.
Current labs -
My current gfr - 120
no proteinuria
RBC are present
Usually my urine is clear.
Sometimes dark yellowish with clumped tiny speck of red blood (like a tiny red dot that is not solid when picked on a tissue but smearable) [cystoscopy, cytology done and infections already ruled out with 16 months of repeated different tests before the eventual biopsy]
And when i get fever I can see cola urine.
Has anybody experienced something similar? Does the hematuria ever subside? How is your prognosis?
Here is my ongoing treatment:
Iganef — budesonide controlled release
, 9 mg twice daily
Empanef — empagliflozin
Initially 10 mg once daily
Telma 40 — telmisartan 40 mg once daily
