I have microscopic hematuria since sep 2024, and that was the first symptom. Got diagnosed in February 2026 via biopsy and started treatment - targeted release budesonide, telmisartan, and empagliflozin.
No proteinuria yet and egfr is 118 currently but micro hematuria still shows up. Wondering what happens to it over time. Did anyone experience this?
Can I consume milk/tea/coffee?
My IGAN is stable currently. Only microscopic hematuria and no proteinuria. Biopsy showed minimal IGA deposits.

My microscopic hematuria was not detected in my previous two months routine tests. But now again it showed. No protein leakage yet only microhematuria.
I’m on telma, empanef, and budesonide controlled release tables.

I, a 26M, went on my first Thailand trip recently with my brothers. It is my first ever international trip as well.
Fast forward to 3 days in, it was the day we decided to do some club hopping in Pattaya walking street. In the club, all my cousins were picking girls that were there to be picked and they were dancing together. They later asked for money to go to hotel so yeah they were providing paid services.
While all my brothers were dancing intimately with the girls, I was just dancing alone as I am not the type of guy who likes publicly having girls twerk on me or smooching etc. So my brother asked the manager to arrange a girl for me as the manager was his friend.

As I am a bit shy, my brother sent me and the girl to our rented condo by the morning and said he will have her paid. When we both went to the condo, as she entered, she started cleaning my room.
She started cleaning all the empty boxes, all the trash that I scattered in my room. I was so touched by that. It was 7 in the morning, we all were tired and she was just cleaning my room. She was so sweet.
Then we laid in bed. She had cold and was sneezing. She told me if I could get her some medicine from 7/11. I fed her medicines, i took care of her during the night. I ended up not having sex with her, as I just felt a deeper connection with her beyond sex. We did get intimate but no sex.
Then I went to phuket and bangkok for a few days and then came back to pattaya and met her again and paid her. Still we did not have sex, though she asked me if I want but I said no and that I am enjoying whatever it is. She started sharing her personal life with me. She disclosed she has a daughter. She also has a small job. But I didn’t ask how often she does this thing or anything related to this sleeping business. I kinda felt emotional for her.
I told her that next day I was going back to my country. She asked me if she could come to say bye. I told her I don’t have any more money to pay.
I was sleeping and at 6 am she called me. She came over to my hotel and slept with me for a few hours left before check-out to catch my flight. She didn’t ask for money. She came to see me off.
A week has went by and we still talk on WhatsApp. Today she just slept on a videocall with me.
She is exceptionally beautiful and exceptionally sweet though. I do like her.
Seemingly, she has a good heart and a great personality, but I am also afraid what if she is just playing with me. Can anyone help me to analyze my situation?
TLDR - I am in love with a thai hooker, and I have no clue if it is real from her end or not.
My labs are stable and i am not leaking protein yet. Only intermittent hematuria. So i came to this trip. But my dark urine episode has completed ruined my head, my excitement.

M25. I was always of the opinion that I would never indulge in relationships. That I can live alone. One of the reasons was that I rejected myself for any woman because I’m short. I used to go the hookers and thought that’s the only way I will get affection.
Fast forward to now I recently got diagnosed with igan an autoimmune disease that affects kidneys. And the coincidence is that I happened to find this one amazing girl at work just at this ugliest time in my life where I now have chronic igan and past of hookers (though I am clean with all tests).
There were times when she came near and started random talks and the two deal breakers that I have now started flooding in my head. I can’t even bring myself to exchange regular greetings with her because I know I will fall for her if I talk to her.
Two big deal breakers. I never thought I would happen to find a woman I would start liking! Life is a fucking movie really! And it did me too wrong.
I like clubbing, but this igan has made this a challenge. I cannot have beer anymore. What foods are your go to when you do outings?

My gfr is above 100, no proteinuria (only hematuria) and no abnormal potassium levels. But my new dietician told me to remove potatoes whereas my nephro told me I have normal kidney function I can eat them. But when i reintroduced potatoes when my nephro said, i could feel morning fatigue and morning puffy fingers again. So just want to ask could potatoes be the reason?
