Kidney stone issues: St James vs CHA in Anaconda?
Anyone personally dealt with [recurrent] stones and found better treatment at a particular facility?
I don't really feel the walk-in clinic is good fit since a CT or ultrasound sound necessary to visualize. I am not hoping for surgery or stent/catheter. Just hoping to not be completely traumatized by western medicine to the point. Maybe some Flomax and thorough screening for infection. I have a 5-yr-old total joint replacement issues and some issues with my left renal vein compression—a couple things that elevate my risk.
So far, I have the tools to manage the pain decently at home, but not motivated to eat or drink anything today. Most say they feel better after the stone drops—I got the chills and a low grade fever, low-end BP and not amazing O2/HR stats. Not looking for medical advice necessarily, but for your lived experience seeking treatment for kidney stones.
