I don’t know how to stop being extremely vague anymore.

I used to be very open, talkative and extroverted with people, including texts. But every time I got excited about something and talked about it, people would say “I didn’t ask.”

Or when I was upset about something, and someone were to ask if I’m okay and would like to talk about it, and I do, I’m met with “I didn’t ask you to trauma dump”

Im extremely wary of this now. So I only ever give out any form of information if asked. Don’t ask? I’m not sharing.

Most of my conversations go like this:

Them: “You got any plans?”

Me: “Yes”

Them: “well, what would that be?”

Me: “cooking”

Them: “oh? What dish?”

Me: “something with rice”

I CANNOT stop being so difficult to talk to. I want to share more, but I keep stopping myself because I’ve only ever been met with bad feedback.

How should I approach this?

What should I do as a mid laner when my bot laners want to switch lanes mid game?

I’m still learning but I generally don’t know how to read the game that well. When my botlaners have won lane, and they switch with me so I’d farm minions solo for the exp, do I push up? The more I kill the minions the more I’d have to push up and the more I do, the farther away I am from my turret. Won’t I get caught out and die? I’ve gotten ganked many times :(

Everyone expecting face reveals these days.

“Anyone wonder what x Youtuber looks like??? When is she going to show us her face!!”

Uh… probably never for some people? But they end up doing it because of the pressure. Some people want their privacy. Not everyone can deal with fame like that. You get famous enough, and everyone is all up in your business if they recognise you in public.

In private DMs? Turning down someone’s request for me to face reveal gets them unreasonably mad. It’s not as if I’ve been talking to this person for weeks or even days now. Heck, it’s not even been an hour. But they always think it’s weird I don’t want to put myself out there.

“I just want to know who I’m talking to!!” So… you’re befriending me purely based off my looks. Sounds real genuine. If I don’t send, I’m ugly. If I do, I permanently compromise my privacy with this person and I can’t take it back. So the only solution is to block them which in itself, gets exhausting too.

And no. It’s not a dating app either. I’m just barely getting to know someone off an online game, and they added me. If we get closer, obviously I’d be down.

In this day and age of generative AI being able to copy people’s looks and make them say and do things they wouldn’t do, it’s scary. People are already doing it to celebrities.

Is Kayle ever picked in pro play?

I’ve been trying to learn Kayle, and I tried looking up pro footage on youtube but it’s just high elo ranked players mostly.

Don’t get me wrong I’m still going to learn from them and if anything I should as it’s not like I’m pushing for pro anyway, but I am still quite curious.

I know pro play is more coordinated and everything but is there seriously zero Kayle games? Or do I just not know where to look?

Build question for Morgana players:

Build question for Morgana players:

Why do most builds use Arcane Comet over Deathfire Touch? Don’t get me wrong. I know how strong Arcane Comet is and has been a staple before Deathfire Touch was a thing.

But seeing as many builds also stack Liandry’s and Blacktorch for the burn, I’d expect the same to be done with the runes.

I’ve been using Deathfire Touch and I’m not going to say it’s better since I’m still relatively new to the game, but I am curious still.

people who dont understand that worst≠bad

them: “how? this movie is good id say. the soundtracks and action scenes were really entertaining. not as good compared to the other two though”

yes… thats… what being the worst means? i never said its bad lmao?

how do i stop struggling with lying by omission when i dont want to talk about certain things?

for example:

them: “hey how are you, and your family?”

me: “uh… we’re fine.”

and then i feel like a douche. because we’re not fine. at all. so sometimes it goes like this:

me: “my family and i are having very complicated issues but i dont really wanna talk about it”

them: “then why did you bring it up???”

the only solution is not to bring it up, but i REALLY struggle with lying. even if its for a good reason.

“you probably wonder why you have no friends” after any small disagreement.

i might be a dick at times, but i dont go around wondering why i have no friends if im willingly and consciously being a dick about something. i have some level of self awareness and i can reflect on my behaviour.

i either be friendly and have friends or be a dick and chase people away. im aware i cant have it both ways.

on second thoughts, i can. some people still prefer side this of me.

and then its also the assumption that everyone wants over 20-30 friends going on in their lives. yeah. no thanks. thats stretching myself thin.

if telling people to mute chat is so common in this community, why are people surprised when their comms are “ignored”?

ive had so many people in my games absolutely freak out that their adc or jungler or whoever is blind and not looking at their chat telling them to do X and Y.

and as reasonable as that is, isnt one of the top advice in this community to mute everyone and play? ive had to explain to these people that its not personal and they probably already had everyone muted from the get go.

i dont have a problem dealing with toxic players, but im surprised more people arent expecting fully deafened players.

does anyone struggle with not having the mental capacity to play along with playful texts?

them: “what are you up to?”

me: “oh im just having some food, whats up?”

them: “oh yum, can i have some?”

and i immediately lose patience. i want them to cut to the chase. yes i know its something i should work on but for the meantime life is hard and i dont wanna engage in pointless texts.

i end up with responding with “no” or “…sure? im not sure how if im so far away from you” in hopes of shutting them down. but i feel like i dont know how to get them to stop without sounding dickish.

I have no idea how to respond to “whatchu up to today?”

Specifically that last part. Someone asking what im up to or what im currently doing, i can answer. But them asking about the whole day, i normally tell them everything. Which, i think im going about it wrong?

I respond with “oh im just gonna brush my teeth, maybe take a 10 minute shower then make some omelettes for breakfast. Ill be doing some work from my home and maybe head out for lunch and come back for some games with my boyfriend…. “ Blah blah blah till the end of the day

And i end up typing a whole ass paragraph because i dont generally have one big thing planned for the day. Its just a bunch of small life stuff.

People who defend overly clingy behaviour.

Me: “I cant take it anymore. I just broke up with my boyfriend because hes so anxiously attached”

Them: “Why whats wrong?”

Me: “He asks me if im okay, if im alright, if im good, like every hour. And it makes me think.. what am i doing thats making him ask this constantly???”

Them: “God forbid someone cares about you! Youre gonna miss it when it’s gone!l

No, no. No. This isnt someone “caring”. Its someone so anxious about everything that has to do with you that theyre worried they mightve done something to upset you while youre just… chilling. The only thing that’s pissing me off is the person constantly asking the thing every hour until i eventually snap.

I get that we all want people to care about us but it reaches a point. If this is what being cared for is like, id rather not have it. Im not that desperate.

“Wait.. women have 3 holes down there??”

Did we all just skip basic biology or something? And no im not talking about kids asking this. Im talking men in their 20s

People who butter you up for no reason and with zero basis.

“Hey whats your favourite dish to cook?”

“Oh i actually just started learning, kinda horrible now so im just doing basic dishes. Nothing fancy to favour yet”

“Aww youre not horrible. Im sure youre better than all of us! Dont bring yourself down!”

Oh yeah? Based off what? You havent seen me cook at all. And now im suddenly probably better than all of you? Now thats a stretch.

I understand theyre not being 100% serious. But please. I know you care for me, but im allowed to be realistic too. Im not talking down on myself and internalising that low self worth from just being new to cooking.

When i tell people not to do something and they tell me they dont mind.

“Hey please stop giving me the things you dont want anymore”

“Oh its okay! I really dont mind!”

Bitch. I mind. Im not your personal recycle bin. Half the things you give me are just taking up precious space in my very small house nor do i use any of it.

As annoying as it is for someone to dump their trash onto me, my peeve is when people think theyre doing something so good that makes them go “i dont mind” like im worried about troubling them or something. Im not worried. I just dont want your stuff.

Before you guys fire overly simplified solutions like this sub always does, yes. I do throw them away, and i do sell them sometimes. But if im doing that to 80% of the things im given, at that point just dont give them to me.

This is just one example. It could be many other things

I know eternals get a lot of hate, but are there people who also like it as much as i do?

I prefer not to spend on skins as i truly appreciate the base design of the champions. Theyre more connected to the lore which i love. So i usually decide to spend on eternals for my mains. I know its mostly a waste of money to the community but i just wanted to see if anyone actually like this system?

Just a casual post. Nothing serious, thank you everyone<3

To those who play both pc and mobile league, are there more casual players on pc?

Im normally a competitive player, but i like treating league as a casual game for me. Its not that im afraid of playing ranked but… the rewards dont really mean anything for me there so its just added stress.

However, many of my friends or even strangers on discord servers are constantly telling me to “just play ranked” for wild rift.

And when i do play and try to find people to play with, everyone and their grandmother is at least emerald+.

Im thinking of migrating to pc so i can enjoy norms more. Less/no bots for one. I know mobile has a ton of bot enemies that i dont really like. And since pc’s league is harder, maybe people might favour norms over ranked?

“But its so good!”

Whenever i say im not feeling up to try something. Be it a movie, a new dish, a new sport, a new game, whatever. Their argument is always that its “so good”.

And i dont doubt that. I believe you. But im sorry, im tired. I dont have the energy. So i dont care how good it is. Im not watching a new anime when i can barely focus and pay attention and have to rewatch a single episode 3 times to absorb all of it.

Does autism actually cause someone to take things extremely literally?

I cant help it sometimes. It’s subconscious, or conscious but im also extremely stubborn.

If someone goes “damn man youre the best!”

Id frown, and get baffled. How am i the best? He just met me. He barely knows me. And even if he did im pretty sure i can name 6 people who have my traits and more. And im surely not the best by then.

I also struggle to take jokes or read between the lines. Even though a LOT of the time i know theyre jokes. Im just so serious all the time and hate jokes.

I dont know if its a me thing or an autism thing. But its really making me act like a real asshole sometimes.
