Thoughts on Forrest

My partner wants to call our son Forrest, tho I don’t “hate” it, I much prefer classic names like Henry, Benjamin etc😅 my partner’s list pretty much consists of similar names to Forrest, another he likes is Raine. I’m worried my kid will hate me for calling him Forrest. Thoughts?

Girl names ending in i?

Looking for girl names ending in i or the “ee” sound.

I like Naomi but it’s my partners ex’s name, from over a decade ago, but still a huge ick and now a no go😂

At the moment I like Evie, but just Evie on its own. No longer versions like Evelyn, Evangeline etc. thats why I’m a little meh at the moment with Evie.

Need more names ending in i or “ee” sound to match my son. Thank you!

(Forgot to add, I don’t like the popular ones like Bonnie, Ellie, Lilly, milly, Tilly etc sorry!)

Finalise names for our twins

UPDATE- we are going for Louie and Henry :) thank you everyone

My partner posted on one of the other groups asking for suggestions for our twin boys. We know one of the names will definitely be Louie, but we have 2 options for the other name. Which do you think is best?

Louie & Henry (our current fav)

Louie & Jamie

Louie & Cole

We’re open to other suggestions but pls make sure it’s a different initial :)

Does anyone else not like their name?

I have a nice name but I always feel like I do not suit my name at all😂 does anyone else feel like this?
My names Annabelle, and I go by Annabelle by everyone, never been an Anna or annie or Bella etc.

It’s such a random thought but it randomly came to my head and I wanted to make a post about it. For you to get a clearer picture;
I’m in my 20s now, bit of a tomboy, I was a bit of a trouble maker back in school. I have tattoos up both arms and all on one of my thighs, I don’t wear makeup, I love football and pretty much all my friends are guys etc,.

And ultimately when I think of “Annabelle” I just see pretty flowers, pink, posh girl😂 I feel like I doesn’t fit me at all, I’m definitely more on the Blake, Rowan, Riley side lol. I would never change my name but I always feel a little embarrassed telling people I’m Annabelle lol. Although I do always get compliments about it. Don’t get me wrong, I like the name, just not really on me😂Okay Venting overrrr

Let me sparkle up a special name for you 💕 (just some fun)

Male/female/gender neutral?

How many syllables? (Or no preference)

Would you like it to have a specific meaning? (I.e nature)

Would you like it to be;
Popular/not common but still heard of/uncommon and rare/ still a name but you rarely hear! ?

Would you like it to be associated with the bible? (Or no preference)

Do toy have a style preference? (Ie old fashioned/ timeless/ edgy/ trendy/ sophisticated etc)

Any sibling names It needs to flow with?

Anything specific you do or don’t want (ie you want it to end in “ie” or you want it ending in “son) or vice versa!)

And finally, any no-goes? (Names you do not want)

Thoughts on Leylan for a boy (Lay-Lun)

Was told to post here! I don’t like Leland/ Leyland but I like Leylan. Idk where I got it from I just thought it was a normal, maybe rare, name😂 but comments say otherwise. Am I setting my kid up for failure with this name.

(Runner up name is Rowan but partners best friend has just used Roman and it’s a lillllll similar, still on our list tho!)

Should we avoid using names that our friends have used?

I get if it was family then it would probably be a no go, but 3 of my favourite names my partner has vetoed because his friends have those names or his friends have kids with those names. I don’t even know these people btw (I know of them, maybe met them once or twice but wouldn’t call them my friends personally).
I LOVE Rowan, i was gutted about this one because it’s been in my top 3 since I was 16, but my partners friend from work has a boy called Rowan so he shut it down quite quickly.
Do you think we should really not use names for this reason? This friend is only his work friend, maybe they go to the pub every now and then but the chances of our son meeting them or being friends with his Rowan are small to 0. I don’t know him. I get that might not be the point but it’s really frustrating. My partner might not even be friends with these people in the next 5 years? This is just one example btw, there’s 2 other names I’ve picked that are in the same situation. I forgot to add, my partner hasn’t even met the kid btw. And even told me he likes the name and would definitely be more up for using it if it wasn’t for his friends kid

Julian, Cameron or Rowan.

Julian, Cameron or Rowan.
No doubt whichever I use, the others will be for future siblings as they all flow nicely, but what would your first choice be?

Question

I understand while on mounjaro you need to exercise as-well, but does this mean high intensity gym sessions/ running/ jogging etc. Im starting my first dose tomorrow.

Since my job is already quite physical (a lot of walking/ lifting etc) and it’s 6 days a week and I’m unable to use my day off for gym (the whole reason for me starting mounjaro)

I walk my dog for an hour everyday on top of this , will this be enough altogether or will I need to sacrifice an hour before work to go for a jog or to the gym. I’m just worried I won’t be doing enough for myself 🤧 any advice pls.

Thoughts on Ashton for a boy

Thoughts on Ashton. I won’t be using it anytime soon as a close friend has just had a baby called Aston. Guess it could be one for the future? What do you think

Is Conan to similar to Cameron (sibling)

We have a Cameron and are considering Conan if our next is a boy, is it too similar or wouldn’t you say so?

(If not any other suggestions preferable that flow with it or begin with c)

Thank you

Thoughts on Nicole

I do like the idea of Nikki as a nickname but also just like Nicole as a full name. I also love Annika, and Nikita. (We can’t use Nikita tho! we have a friend called Nikita who also happens to have our surname lol crazy) I don’t like Nicola.

Only thing is I struggle to picture anyone under the age of 12 called Nicole.

We are in the uk btw
