An actual fun product to open (donruss Costco box)

Ordered donruss road to World Cup off of Costco.com earlier this week and it arrived today and I have to say I wasn’t expecting much but was pleasantly surprised! Even the quality of the cards and the art looked nice!

We started with the Vini Jr. giant Kaboom which my son was stoked about.

11 packs later and we honestly loved this product. Now I doubt any of the cards are super valuable but we got almost the entire US squad, some all
Time greats like Pele, tons of cool inserts, variety, numbered cards, etc.

Would recommend this product if you have the chance! Saw some guy selling this box for $120 at a card throw last weekend and I politely mentioned to a couple kids they could find it on Costco.com for $50… anyway, hmu if you’re interested in the giant VINI but the rest will go in the binder!

Logistics of TCG/EBAY

My son and I are accumulating a good amount of cards. He’s mostly focused on the IR’s and we aren’t obsessed with chasing $$ and we generally don’t sell anything, aside from the occasional trade at a shop or whatever.

We do have a ton of Ex’s and other 2-3$ cards that we don’t know what to do with, as well as a few thousand bulk cards separated into holo/base.

There are local people who will buy bulk for like $40 a thousand holos, etc.

Obviously card values are driven by eBay/tcg sales which means someone is buying just about every single card for some reason or another and I see there are plenty of $1 and under listings.

How does selling a $1 card work on eBay? How is it worth the cost of shipping, etc? Is there a stock shipping charge for a single card in an envelope?

I don’t mind the time consuming aspect if it makes us some $ to spend on pokemon. Can anyone talk me through the logistics of how annoying this is? We already have an eBay account with good feedback, etc. DM works too. Just generally it’s hard to wrap my mind around because I live in an area where I could probably visit 20 shops within an hour of me and find any card I wanted, but I know that’s not true for everyone!

Thanks for any help you’re willing to provide!

So my family and I were lucky enough to get tickets to two shows we were hoping to attend, Orlando and Atlanta. We could no longer attend Atlanta so we’re waiting for resale to be available, not knowing what to expect. I had a coworker who wanted tickets badly so I synced up with her to try and release them instantaneously, having no idea if that would work. So I listed them, she was ready, she kept refreshing but couldn’t see them, I sent her my link, she got them in her cart and they were gone, bought by someone else in the first 30 seconds. No clue if it was a “bot” or someone who just constantly refreshes. Seems like it will be almost impossible for normal fans to get any tickets at resale either way. Maybe better luck closer to show time…just figured I’d share if this helps anyone else!
