Worst sx type when unhealthy?
(Specifically sx types because I think they tend to be more extreme than sp or so dominant types.)
I’d love to hear your own anecdotal experiences.
My personal ranking:
Worst —> 8, 1, 2, 4, 6, 3, 7, 5, 9 <—- least bad

I’ve seen a lot of negative posts about 1s especially sx1, just wondering what do people LIKE about them instead?

Contrary to descriptions of relations of extinguishment, in real life many of these pairs are drawn to each other. Why? For a relation that’s meant to be far less than ideal why do both types instinctively like each other?
For me I’ve disliked a lot of EIEs but also greatly admired and am close friends with some of them too. We have no functions in common yet I enjoy being around them. And when I like them I REALLY like them, to the point of putting them on a pedestal.
What would cause an LSE to be more submissive? CAN they sometimes be like that?
Asking because there’s someone I’m trying to type who by all accounts of everything is an LSE, good with his hands, observant, logical, aesthetically inclined, outgoing and social, actually super creative (to me, his EII dual) and can be very sweet and sentimental, but lacks tact and seems impressed by my ramblings and abstract style of intelligence/creativity. The only thing I’m confused by is he prefers to let me take the lead when it comes to dates, making the first move, even following me around, and openly said he’s more of a supporter than a leader.
I thought from descriptions of LSEs that they were supposed to be more dominant?
INFP CEO + 2 ENTJs
ENFJ CEO + 2 INTPS
(No you cannot overthrow the CEO 😬)
Something I’ve noticed is a recurring trait with ESTJs is that they’re generally very technical, precise people, and actually like complicated explanations or logic. This to me seems like good Ti. Even though Ti is meant to be a Te dom’s ignoring function
ENTJs on the other hand have barely noticeable Ti, they’re very generalist and can be wrong a lot. It’s very obvious that they prefer to use Te over Ti.
Do you notice this amongst yourselves?
How do my fellow INFPs choose between what you like VS what’s good for you? Given the conditions that they are TWO different options, can’t be combined into one.
Is there a right choice?
For example I’m talking to two guys right now, one is someone who is hypothetically “good for me”, but the other is someone who I “enjoy” talking to more. I can’t reconcile the two, and one is objectively definitely a logically better choice but historically I enjoy talking to a different type of person.
Golden pair schmolden pair, I don’t subscribe to that stuff but healthy ENFJs are my favourite people ever.
You guys have a lovely warm encouraging vibe that just leaves people feeling recharged and motivated. Especially those of us who are a bit more shy or have self doubt, ENFJs see it immediately and always step in to gently lift us up.
I don’t know how you guys do it, but you always have unlimited energy for other people, I hope you all look after yourselves too and surround yourself with people that fill your cup 💕
I’m dating an INFJ guy, we’ve been on 3 dates and I feel like the vibes are good, the conversations are amazing in person and we both commented on that,
however he mentioned on the third date that he wants to take this a bit differently, and wants to go slow.
I’m not sure if he’s trying to subtly tell me he’s not that interested but willing to see if feelings develop? Further context is while in person dates are great he is very slow with texting, like takes one business day to get back to me…I’ve asked him about it and he says he doesn’t like texting.
I’m having a hard time gauging his interest, he seems extroverted but then said that he can be really shy and quiet which I haven’t really seen evidence of.
Do you ever find yourself stifling your expectations and emotions because you’re afraid to feel? For example trying not to get excited or hopeful for a date because of the fear of feeling rejected or let down or unwanted. Or dismissing something because you don’t want to be too dependent on it.
I feel like I use to do this a lot and it makes me feel numb…although I’m trying to become braver and not be afraid of negative emotions…
