The plot is a baby sitter is plagued by a nuisance caller who keeps asking if she has "checked the children".Eventually she becomes so scared she phones the telephone company to get the calls traced. They come back and tell her the calls are coming from INSIDE the house.

It turns out he has killed the children upstairs.

The movie then jumps in time. The baby sitter now has children of her own but the murderer has escaped from a mental institution . She has had her name in the local paper and he sees it. I forget the plot but i think he comes after her and her children. It was a scary horror film that I saw when I was a teenager . I never ever saw it again and i wondered what it was called . Thanks

Did your parents ever tell you off for killing bugs? My mum never seriously told me off for stepping on ants..She killed them as well.

Killing bugs was not something I thought of as unethical . I remember I was a rotter at times who swung my foot at pigeons and I recall one old man saying i was a little b…..lol but again not seriously telling me off. I stomped on insects especially ants and woodlice even though I was old enough to know better. When I was a kid the school never taught us about valuing insect life or animals either as far as I recall..

Sometimes I still squat moths and wasps etc if they come indoors but otherwise I mostly just "live and let live". I am also a Pescatarian now so I think I am making up for my rotten deeds.=D

I heard it said we could not survive without insects but they could survive without us. They are declining apparently . I played a very small part in that but it was not an issue when i was younger.

Do you think parents should have told us off for it ?

I notice it a lot now when i am out. It seems to be in the air . I walk past people who are openly smoking it. i never noticed this when I was a kid . It maybe just because i know what it smells like now or is it just becoming more common?

Following on from a comment regarding the American version of "The office " could not be made today . I am thinking of how many comments some of Britain's best loved comedies had .

In "Only fools and horses " Del boy jokes about twenty something Rodney dating schoolgirls. How Del boy tells a dating agency not to set him up with some "old bow wow" and in" the office "How Gareth is trying to chat up the 16 year old and how she is dating a 20 year old something colleague. How Del boy thinks he could have caught AIDS from a gay hairdresser "some mush called Jason" How Basil Fawty treats Manuel. How "Little Britain" blacked up and i saw clips of Benny hill squinted as a Chinese man . I don't think audiences would find it funny now. BUT people did

When did humour change. ? Do you think it is right that this is not considered funny ?. Do you hate "Woke " or do you think this is a national disgrace that people laughed at this ? Some people cancel the shows and the artist but the public loved it and laughed .

I came across a woman on YouTube claiming Billie had two children Tyrone in 1940 and Cynthia in 1942 and that she is Cynthia's daughter. she comes from Baltimore. . How on earth could she carried two children full term at the height of her career without anybody knowing. ? Why does this woman not do DNA ? Why does this woman not provide a birth certificate of her mother? Why does she not try and make a claim on the estate? Why not go to the press? She claims Billie had them with her first husband Jimmy Monroe, that she left them with a neighbour .in Baltimore What two kids? born two years apart? . AND Billie left Balitimore as a teenager , Other claims from her are billies real name was Ollie Harris and she had a sister called sally

No documentary , film, book or research has ever mentioned her having a child. it actually claims she wanted children . None of this adds up as every website said Billie had no children.ANYBODY know who this woman is or anything about this?

I rarely do after a while except when i have just sprayed it. I smell other people wearing deodorant . I worked with a woman who used to smell of strong perfume but she said she couldn't smell it on herself. Why can we smell other people's but not our own?

I feel it's just the same old thing now but maybe i am being miserable.
