Has anyone ever bought a tank from China? Or is that as bad as my welding skills.

A friend was digging in the dirt with this. I was heartbroken. He knows not what he does.

Need to patch my pants. This one would work but I don't want to use it if it is a real patch. Came out of a storage unit.

My multiple pairs of Merrell shoes keep falling apart in the Florida heat. I bought an awl 40+ years ago and never used it till this project. Not going to lie. My fingers hurt. Not quite done yet but the hardest part is past.

FYI on soda dispensers

I had tests done for GERD, took the medicines, had lengths of remission. They stitched a sensor in my esophagus. The said no reflux.

When I was on vacation in Orlando a decade ago and got a drink from one of those machines. It the first time my throat was one fire and I barely could talk. I kind of blamed that machine in that restaurant. Others used it with no problem so I kind of disregarded that thought.

Ever since then I used them without problems (or so I thought). I would get a drink from the dispenser at a club I belonged to on the regular. Even if I got a non carbonated drinks from them I my GERD was spotty (I see that now). It was not a overnight change. I blamed my GERD on jalapenos. If I use that machine and jalapenos even if hours apart I am down for the count. I can eat jalapenos to my hearts content if I don't use those dispensers.

Just saying some of us might be sensitive from what ever chemicals they use in those machines.

15HP electric motor not what it appears to be

I was trying to buy this motor from the maker through Alibaba when I realized something. There 10HP electric motor uses the same 7.3KW motor as the 15HP. Basically means the motor will burn out faster. When I pull up the AliExpress ads one company runs the motor two different ways. Saying it is an 11KW motor and in another ad 7.3KW. Since the actual company has no 11KW motor this is false advertising as well as all saying that they are 15HP.

This is just a FYI that buyers should do research on what they are buying.

I walk each day and pass a park. Usually I try my hand at some pull ups. Today two workers (30s) were there spreading mulch. I do two sets. From a distance I hear him telling the other, "This is how you do pull ups". Very infuriating. As I left I asked him to try do those when he turns 62. Grrr.

Just going to leave this here. This particular store has maybe 18 legitimate parking spaces (gravel field nest to it).

I'm at a loss. I made this before understanding slingshot technology. I hear that I should use a band rather than tubing. Any suggestions on a strong band and maybe the best way to attach it? I was thinking of making a slit that gets squeezed by a screw or something. Thoughts?
