Was trying to determine whether Naval Idea Heavy Ship vs Naval Idea Galley in an inland sea before realising that I don't know what it actually buffs. Does it effect the flat damage after a roll or something?

when is it viable to turn your vassal to a march?

I like to play with subjects and take influence ideas, though I also want marches, but sometimes can't determine if it's worth sacrificing the vassal income. In my current game as Morocco, I kinda want to make a vassal in Portugal as a march but the land seems good for income

How many cannons are actually in an artillery regiment?

Probably minor gripe but are the artillery regiments all just cannon operators or is it also including the logistical guys? Like pretty sure 1000 men is like 100 cannons if 10 people man each one, which sounds ridiculous

Playing as Friesland and have royal marriages with Brunswick, Oldenburg, Denmark and France. I haven't exactly gotten a personal union before because I play outside of Europe more. Do I just have to keep waiting until they have a succession crisis?
