Going out with the lady and I’m looking to catch anything really, just wondering if anybody knows some sections in maynooth or possibly Kilcock. Will be primarily using worms on a small hook. Thanks

Rabbits are destroying the soil of my house - landslide incoming

Hi all, how would I remove rabbits (might be a small-medium colony) from my land/garden in Ireland, it’s a raised ground about 10metres from the surrounding land on a slope from the adjacent road , we had rabbits since a year or two ago breeding and burrowing multiplying so quick. I suspect theyre here since we border a turnip field they are feasting on it and burrowing in the cliff face of my land. My Jack Russell has already killed 3 rabbits since the month started, and I’ve tried everything (traps, filling the holes, burning the brush) bar calling an exterminator. Any advice how to please permanently get rid of them, because the soil is subsiding rather quickly and my uncle said it will collapse before the year is out. Thanks for reading any help please do suggest. -soulpotatoes

What rabbit is this?

Dealing with a rabbit colony on the land my dog keeps killing them, only picture I have unfortunately but they have light brown fur with white patches on their ears, according to google it’s not a rabbit nor a hare, anyone know what these lovely wee fellas are called?

What’s the name of this pub?

I liked the aesthetic of the bar but completely forgot about name or location as I walked back to the hotel drunk haha. Love from Ireland.

Taughboyne parish Church is now closed down.

In St Johnston, Last service was on Sunday. 400 year old structure no longer used. Apparently only 4 people in the area regularly attend Sunday, wow. One of the oldest CofI on the island.

Prison church

Built over an old prison site, Europe’s last great stone church.

Home of the Tredennick family, a wealthy landowner of the area in south Donegal, it was destroyed in 1944 for the widening of the river Erne for the dam at Cathleen falls in ballyshannon. Only the entrance gate stands. And they didn’t end up flooding the castle land, they overestimated the water level.

Tilts a few degrees, in the past it was more severe so in 2002 it was fixed to 0° but still continued tilting.
