turning an old android into a much needed wifi extender

nothing complicated [i hope], im turning a samsung S7 into a wifi extender via its mobile hotspot. anything i should be worried about? anything i could do too make it more reliable?

ps. i think the battery is on its way out, will the phone still work when plugged into the wall if it is batteryless?

No matter what i do, "other files" keeps growing

Maybe for YEARS at this point, my seemingly inaccsessible other files has been growing in size, it is now half my phones storage. I feel like ive checked EVERYTHING. Any ideas?

My phone keeps changing its accessibility settings

Im using a samsung galaxy a13, too be specific, and the settings under:

Accessibility > installed apps

Have changed themselves multiple times, specifically disabling the permissions for some apps that i need turned on. Is there anything on my phone that could make me change my accessibility premissions without realising?

Best way too take screen shots when your power button is broken

SOLVED

Edit: im using a samsung galaxy a13 if that helps

The power button on the right of my phone is broken completely. Ive found a way around a majority of its functions, but i can seem too find an easy way too take screenshots without the power button. Any ideas?

why is it always vhs tapes?

everytime the scp is a spooky video or audio reccording, its stored on a damn vhs tape. i know its kinda become a trope of its own now, but why? i feel like an sd card is the spookiest secondary storage device, so small and thin, and trying too insert one into a slot is kinda nerve wracking

plus if possible, i assume the foundation wouldnt wanna store scps on vhs of all things, so unstable. what would be the eeriest way too store a video?

editing the resolution and quality of many videos at once[software request]

So, I need too take a relatively large number of video files, and reduce the resolution and quality on all of them, down too a specific level. I dont want too have too do these 1 by 1 on openshot, and id rather not have too use payed software. Any good batch editors you can reccomend?

downloading linux apps as OPKs onto my windows laptop, so i can transfer them too my linux doodad

So, I have a little handheld linux doodad, which doesnt have any wireless capabilities. The only way I can get apps onto it, which ive found, is importing it onto the system as an OPK. However, most linux apps I can find too download, download as a flatpack ref, with no option for an OPK. I dont know what a flatpack ref is, and my windows laptop only interacts with it as a text file. Ive never used linux before, and i only know a little. How do i get apps as OPKs?

ps. forgot too mention, the doodad runs dingux, but i dont think thatll help

DONE!

i have 31 games too play lol, i think thats plenty

too keep things quick

- i found/brought a nifty little handheld thing that can emulate anything up too ps1

-there's an overwhelming amount of games too play, 80% of which came out before i was born

-im starting with the snes, cause it looks good, the snes emulator looks easy too use, and i remember playing an old one when i was little.

SO ive decided too go through every big console i can run on it, and go through all the hits I need too play.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

my current list for the snes[from what ive seen online] is

-ghouls and ghosts

-harvest moon

-a link too the past

-mega man 7

-mega man x

-super mario world

-secret of manna

-super castlevania iv

-dragon ball z, legend of the super sayan

-super punchout

-earthbound

-a fire emblem game[idk which one]

-super metroid

--------

let me know if there's anything big im missing, or if any of these actually dont hold up.

i have absolutely no idea how this has happened. I have a little mp3 player i use for my music, and all of a sudden the screen isnt updating right, and its magnetic?? it never used too be magnetic. I havent done anything too it, the only thing i can think of is i was using it as a ramshackle sd card reader and it got really hot and stressed but idk. anything i can do about it?
