I had sex two days ago (3 weeks post salpingectomy) and it wasn’t rough but I guess there was some pounding/bouncing involved. Right after sex I got a horrible stomach ache that has now lasted for two days. I thought I was healed but now I’m wondering if I did damage.
For those struggling with infertility from endo, what worked for you to get pregnant? Did you have to do Lap Surgery, IVF, different diet, vitamins? What worked for you?
My backstory…. I’m a 32F. I was TTC for one year before becoming naturally pregnant which unfortunately resulted in Ectopic and losing my right tube. I am now back to TTC again. Did anything help you reduce endo enough to conceive? During my surgery they found stage 1 endo.
I just have to post this in case it helps anyone at all. I want to let you know that shockingly I never experienced any pain during my Ectopic pregnancy. The only reason that I figured out it was Ectopic was because PUL and HCG of 10,000. I wouldn’t have known if the ultrasound didn’t show PUL. I am just saying if anyone is “waiting for pain” before going to the ER, that doesn’t mean you haven’t ruptured yet. I was already ruptured and internal bleeding (still no pain) at the ER. Just a PSA.
Edit: I will add that the symptoms I did have after rupture/internal bleeding was fast heart rate (130bpm) which was due to the internal bleeding.
For people who are over 1-2 months recovered from salpingectomy surgery to remove ectopic pregnancy and tube, do you have any long-term chronic stomach pain? I am only 7 days post op and I’m really hoping not to have any long term pain. But I’m curious what other people have experienced?
I wanted to share a beautiful thought I had today. I was picturing my little ectopic baby in heaven, and I was picturing that maybe all of our ectopic babies are friends in heaven together. Maybe there is a little school in heaven for all the ectopic babies to get together. Maybe even the teachers were Ectopic babies themselves. It gives me peace thinking about my baby being surrounded by all of you lovely ladies babies in heaven. Knowing that my baby has the support of my ancestors and also the friendships of you ladies babies give me some peace. I hope this doesn’t sound too far out there. I just wanted to share this thought and hope it brings you peace.
I’ve asked the hospital to allow me to pick up the remains of my eptopic baby. Did anyone else do this? Did you bring the remains home? Did you get them cremated? I’m not sure if it’s a good or bad idea for me to see the remains or just get them cremated. My heart is broken.
I am 32F. I had been TTC for one year prior to my first pregnancy which sadly resulted in an eptopic. I had salpingectomy surgery two days ago to remove the eptopic and my right tube. During the surgery they also found some mild endometriosis. But my other tube looked healthy. Should I continue TTC naturally or just go straight to IVF? Any advice? I’m also still grieving the loss of my baby.
How did you cope with the shock of transitioning from the mindset of pregnant to non-pregnant. It’s like in my mind I feel like I can’t drink alcohol, can’t hot tub, etc. because mentally I’m still in the state of feeling like I’m pregnant even though I’m not anymore. I think I’m entering the “shock” and maybe “denial” part of this grief. I just had my surgery yesterday. I want to still be / act pregnant even thought I am not. I want to keep my identity as being pregnant but I’ve lost it so suddenly.
I’m at the hospital. I don’t think I’ve ruptured yet. Eptopic found in right tube. HCG 15,000. No pain surprisingly. Just started bleeding. Any advice for me? Regarding surgery or recovery?
I am devastated at the thought of losing my unborn child. I need to grieve but at the same time I’m so afraid for this surgery for myself? When did you grieve? I keep oscillating back and forth between sadness for my unborn child and fear for myself. Did anything help you with the emotional toll this takes?
My first ultrasound was a PUL at 7 weeks and 10,637 hcg. How long should I wait before MTX or surgery? I’m surprised my doctor isn’t insisting on treatment. They just told me to repeat ultrasound in one week.
I want to take an international trip with some friends of mine in 1.5 months, but I’m not sure if I’ll be recovered enough by then. Any thoughts?
I am currently 7w0d with a pregnancy of unknown location (PUL). They are testing my HCG and doing more ultrasounds this week, but I’m scared of a rupture. Did you immediately know it when you ruptured? Was the pain severe? Can you tell me your rupture story?
I’m currently 6w6d and there is no gestational sac in my uterus. The doctor was unable to locate the eptopic on my ultrasound. How much longer should I wait to take MTX? Also what HcG level should I take MTX at? I’d like to avoid surgery and I don’t know how much time I have left to take MTX.

But today I went in for my first ultrasound at 6w6d and they could not find any gestational sac in my uterus. They also were not able to locate any eptopic pregnancy. So visuaully I did not look pregnant on the ultrasound even though I’m testing positive. Also I have not had any bleeding. So if I already had a completed miscarriage, wouldn’t there have been blood? I had an HCG blood test today but haven’t gotten results yet. Doctor is saying it could be: 1) eptopic 2) already completed miscarriage or 3) too early to see it (highly unlikely because I know my dates).
I guess the biggest question in my mind is if my uterus is empty why haven’t I had any blood yet? Should I expect delayed bleeding?

How much? How often? My inside sales rep is complaining about not being paid enough. I don’t want to get personally involved in her pay as I view that between her and the corporation. But she keeps bringing it up to me. Should I tip her? Is there a customary amount I am supposed to be tipping my inside sales rep? I gave her a birthday present of $1,000
32F. Unexplained infertility. Should I test for endo before first embryo transfer? How important is this? I have no endo symptoms.
I dream very vividly and I remember my dreams almost every night. I remember them like memories. And I’m able to re-draw and retrace the dreams. It’s beautiful.
I’m curious is anyone else has this problem…. The top of my hair gets very greasy so I have to wash my hair daily. But I also hand have tied extensions in my hair. And washing hand tied extensions daily makes the hair extensions dry out faster and look bad. It also means more heat styling. What do you do? I’m literally about to just switch to wearing wigs and give up on trying to make my hair work.
