I have two engagement parties at the end of June for my family and then my Fiancee's family (they live in different states). I have spent all of May SEARCHING in person stores for something to wear. Today I went to four different stores and found nothing. I don't want Shein but everything online is either fast fashion or way out of my budget of $50 per dress. What are some good online stores to look at? The themes of my engagement parties are Love is in bloom and Written in the stars. I hate being a plus size bride to be. I feel like nothing is catered towards us and when it is I have to spend way over my budget. This is supposed to be fun but at this point I am just feeling defeated...

Ever since I was a kid studying cultures, religions, and philosophy was my passion. Now that I am looking at college I really want to go into philosophy and anthropology. Every time I tell people I want to do that they ask what I plan on using the degree for? I've even been told I am wasting money to get that degree. I really want to help people and help study religions and cultures. Are there any jobs that are actually out there that will allow me to do this? Or should I change my plan? My plan B is to just go into a education and be a college professor for philosophy but I much rather be doing research.

I really want to open a lesbian club named "Wet Kitty" that is disco themed and the colors are the lesbian flag. Inside I want to have gogo dancing cages with butches in them, lesbian oil wrestling, lesbian stripper nights, drinks and food named after dirty lesbian terms, every Saturday have a night dedicated to black lesbians who helped build our community so much. Just very politically lesbian. A place for lesbians to be naughty, have fun, and experience club culture. I would have it in a basement with two security checkpoints to make sure everyone is safe and no cishet men are coming in.

I feel like not many spaces for lesbians are actually for lesbians. Like they don't celebrate lesbian sexualitiy in a non sexualized way and they don't acknowledge lesbian specific terms/history. I want my club to be completely about lesbians. So lesbian that nonlesbians dont even want to go in
