Zz raven propegation

I've had these two zz cuttings in water since May 12th. They took a long time to take off, and really didn't until I put a pothos cutting in with them. Here is where they're at now. When should i pot these up? Do I wait for secondary roots? I know zz's usually take a while to root so I know patience is key lol

I feel like my bambino's growth has stalled?

I've had my alocasia bambino since May. She's put out 2 leaves and lost more than that for one reason or another. The crispy edges are from fertilizer that had to be flushed out of her pot. I haven't had any issues since then, but she also hasn't had any growth lately either. Are they slow growers? Do they go dormant? I typically water once a week when I notice her pot looks/feels dry, and I fertilize once a month. She gets good light daily, but she's just not doing anything now 🥲

She is in grow queen aroid mix rn also. Please help!

South facing windows 🌿

What are your favorite indoor plants for South facing windows? These plants would be about a foot away from a large south facing window with lots of bright light. Open to suggestions and education! ☺️

Edit: points for fun variegation and colors!

#1 has been mastered, but #2 has been a struggle.

Let me start by saying that I understand part of the reason it's taken so long is because I allowed him to use a pull up to keep him comfortable and avoid meltdowns for too long. Now he's 3 1/2. He's had pee mastered in the toilet for a long time now, shortly after he turned 3. But poop has been a struggle. He's gone a few times in the potty over the course of the last few months, and just this week he started to go in his underwear but I quickly took him to the potty and he finished there. We celebrated, gave him a special treat, it was great. But does not want to do it again and basically says he's done pooping, he doesn't want to anymore, etc. he will hold it for a day or two until he has an accident. He also has finally begun to stay dry overnight so he doesn't want or need pullups overnight at all. But he's refusing to try on the toilet, and will basically just wait until we're occupied to hide and do it in his underwear.

When we had success earlier this week, we blew bubbles while he sat and waited, which he loved and saw as a reward. But then today when he asked to blow bubbles just for pee, I said no. I wanted to make sure he understood that it was special and that if he had to poop, he could blow bubbles while he waited, but not just for pee which he's had mastered for a long time and does not receive prizes or treats for.

I need some direction, I need help because I'm getting frustrated at this point. And I'm tired of catching him purposefully going in his underwear when I'm distracted in the house. Is this like a, I need to talk to his pediatrician kind of situation? Or do I need a new method? Please help. 🫩

Pest or mildew?

Hello! I need some help identifying what's going on with my plant 😭 I chopped and propped the top of my mother plant maybe a month ago and at first, all of the pups I left in the pot seemed to be doing fine. All of a sudden, I noticed this white powdery stuff on some of the leaves, the stem, and some in the pot. I did see some tiny little bugs on a couple of the leaves last week, and I thought that it was spider mites so I sprayed and treated it as such. But now I'm wondering if they were spring tails and this is just powdery mildew? I haven't seen any bugs aside from fungus gnats, and I feel like the leaves have continued to worsen. What should I do?

Attached are some pictures of the fine powdery stuff on the leaves and in the pot/stem.

Alocasia noob 🌱

Hi! New to the group and fairly new to alocasias. I was gifted a few alocasias and I'm really trying to do right by them. I was given an alocasia melo that is in leca, a frydek/micholitziana that seems to be in a chunky soil mix, and a couple of odora batiks. I'm looking for some care tips for each of these. I've never dealt with leca before, how often and how far up should I be filling the jar?

I'm most worried about the frydek and batiks, after they dry out and acclimate, should I transfer them to another substrate? Semi hydro? An aroid mix? Pls help! They're also so beautiful and I'd like to help them thrive!

Alocasia novice

Hello! I'm new to the group and also kind of new to alocasias. I've had a bambino for a couple months, but that's it. I just acquired all of these babies from Facebook marketplace and I want to do right by them! A Facebook group helped me identify these as a melo, a frydek / green velvet/ micholitziana (?)

And an odora batik variegated. Let me know if you agree with these id's! I'm pretty certain the first one is definitely melo. She's in leca, the other two seem to be in a soil mix she made.

Care tips would be appreciated! The suspected frydek went to my parents house with more sufficient lighting but I kept the melo and the suspected variegated batik and will likely need some grow lights.

New baby!

I'm hoping to confirm the plant id! I just got 11 different plants from Facebook marketplace, and she didn't ID all of them for me. I think it's a baby Florida green? But I'm not sure! If it is - any tips? I'm kind of new to philodendrons! I have a philo strawberry shake that is thriving, and a very small Billie that it growing slowly. Advice on this one would be greatly appreciated!

Front Camera not working - pixel 9 xl pro.

Hello there, after getting my phone repaired at a UbreakIfix, I noticed right away the day of pickup that my face unlock was not working. It said it was too dark/not enough light and prompted my to use my finger print to unlock my phone. I didn't think a whole lot of it initially, I figured it was because I hadn't activated it or something like that. I continued my evening and the face unlock didn't work for the rest of the night, I figured it was a glitch that would work itself out. Well today, the next day, I opened my camera to take a photo and the back camera works, but the front camera is completely black. I updated my system, made sure all camera permissions were on, cleared the cache. I'm really frustrated at this point. Is there any other troubleshooting that I can do? I have already called and left a message at the store it was repaired at, but I don't expect to hear back because of the holiday weekend.
