For example, a travel nurse I worked with went to Miami Music Week, came back and told me how she “got to fuck” redacted (major house DJ). She told me how he wanted to do anal, that she didn’t really want to, but that she thought “fuck it I’m not going to say ‘no’ to redacted”.

And to anyone who asks “why do you care so much?”, I would ask why are we so comfortable letting women get hurt and not telling them that they don’t have to be with or do things for porn rotted goon brained fuckbois?

We all know the healthy conventional red flags (alcoholic/drug addict, doesn’t like any animal or children, engages in road rage).

We know the mainstream unconventional (is a DJ/is in a band, performative liberal/feminist, is in a fantasy football league, is a medical device/drug rep or car salesman, is covered head to toe front to back in traditional American tattoos).

Of course there’s the tik tok slop red flags, not that they count for anything other than for us to laugh at (“he got slightly annoyed for me because I made us miss our dinner reservation because I took too long to get ready and this is literally gaslighting ladies be aware.”)

But I’ve started to compile a list of some unconventional red flags that, if made aware of, can save us from undo suffering. Some have justifications; others are just gut feelings.

• Guys who watch

• football/basketball. All other sports are acceptable. This includes golf, even though for the life of me I can't begin to comprehend how anyone actually enjoys watching golf.
• Guys who didn't play any sort of sports growing up. A guy who was a theatre kid is up to no good. Guys who were in jazz band are now hoes for sure. This is the only place where enjoyment of football/basketball is allowed to exist because it served a purpose.
• Guys who say that they enjoy listening to AND understand Fiona Apple. You can listen to her, but as a man you will never ever understand or comprehend her.
• Guys who enjoy listening to Steely Dan, Linda Ronstadt, Cocteau Twins, and/or Deftones.
• (This one is probably more conventional and has been more accepted as fact but), guys who are line cooks, chefs, or wannabe chefs. This is the male equivalent of nursing.
• Tall skinny white guys who listen to any Odd Future artist and/or say that their favorite genre of music is R&B.
• Guys who own BMW bikes. They are the kings of makeout sessions, but you literally cannot expect anything at all from them ever.
• Guys named John. They know how good they are at everything and take extra enjoyment out of stringing a poor woman along.

Keep your head on a swivel for these, and please add to this list.

I went to Nob Hill Aesthetics today, (saw that it was highly recommended on here). Bought a Black Friday HydraFacial package in ‘25, only now getting the chance to use it due to medical leave. Gotta say, vibes were kind of off. Could’ve been just me projecting, 100%. Kind of let down though ngl.

Was hoping to find some recommendations for medical spas that have a heavy focus on skincare that are a little more chill but serious when it comes to skincare, and education on skincare.
