CrossInk is released as beta for the XTEINK X4 Pro, so in this video I show you some really cool feature that is now supported for the XTEINK X4 Pro with CrossInk firmware.
In this video I review the viwoods AiPaper Reader Color. It’s a kaleido 3 e-ink color e-reader in a smartphone form factor.
Many users didn't like that XTEINK added a touch display on the latest XTEINK X4 Pro. In this video I show you a feature in Crosspoint for the XTEINK X4 Pro that can either turn off touch control completely when reading, or choose to only allow Swiping. And that is what I use and it’s brilliant. Here is why.
In this video I unbox and have a first look of the excellent 10.65-inch viwoods AiPaper e-Note. It’s an incredible e-Paper tablet. It has the whitest e-ink display I have ever seen. No front light though but I don’t think it needs that.
In this video I unbox and have a first look of the excellent viwoods AiPaper Reader C that has a color Kaleido 3 e-ink display. I really love this form factor of an e-reader.
After installing Crosspoint Beta firmware on the brand new XTEINK X4 Pro, I wanted to tell you my thoughts on how good it is. So here is my review of it.
In this tutorial I will show you how to install Crosspoint firmware on the XTEINK X4 Pro.
The developer has released a third beta of Crosspoint already and I must say that it already works beautifully! I am so happy with it. It has changed everything for me now. Now I can finally use the XTEINK X4 Pro for all my book reading. Even in bed in the dark.
So it’s finally here! My XTEINK X4 Pro! Unfortunately in Black, I would have preferred it in White but anyways. In this video I unbox it and do a first start and first look of it. I also do a quick comparison to X3 and X4. I also bind it to the XTEINK app on my iPhone. More to come. I will do a review video later on and also guides on how to install crosspoint and more. Unfortunately it doesnt fit on my iPhone Air :(
The viwoods aipaper reader is an awesome device but what I miss from the onyx box Palma is to scroll up and down on a page in any app using the volume buttons or custom button. I wish viwoods could add that as an option in the new button customization feature.
In this tutorial I show you how to create Highlights (My Clippings) and Bookmarks on XTEINK X3 or X4, in the excellent and best Crosspoint firmware fork: CrossInk. It’s a really great feature and it’s so easy to do without a touchscreen and just using the buttons. Brilliant solution. I just wish I could sync the My Clippings text file between my XTEINK X4 and XTEINK X3 too. Exactly as we can already sync reading stats between them. Hopefully the developer can find a way to do that.
On some devices like on my iphone air and onyx boox palma (this image), the status bar is too low. You need to add a setting to customize size and position.
In this tutorial I show you how to add books to XTEINK X3 or X4, and how to make them sync reading progress to e-Readers running KOReader. Like the Kobo Libra H2O in this video. It also works with a Jailbreaked Kindle running KOReader or all other e-Readers that run KOReader.
Welcome back! In this video, I review the excellent Huion Note E. While you know I usually focus heavily on E-ink devices like my Bigme and Viwoods, this 8.4-inch Android 15 tablet really caught my attention.
It is an electronic notebook tailored specifically for reading and note-taking. The display is awesome—even though it is an LCD rather than E-ink, it features an anti-glare, nano-etched glass screen with DC dimming that perfectly mimics a paper-like feel. Combined with the included battery-free PenTech 3.0 stylus, the tactile writing experience is incredibly natural. If you want full Android tablet versatility alongside a distraction-free, customized launcher designed for focus, this is a fantastic option
In this video I checking out the firmware called INX for the XTEINK X4 and XTEINK X3. I show how to download it and how to Flash it and also go through some of the settings.
In today’s video, I’m diving into the incredibly powerful BookFusion KOReader plugin. If you read across multiple e-ink devices, eNotes, Kobo, Android based e-Readers or a jailbroken Kindle, this is a massive game-changer. I will show you how to seamlessly sync your entire book library, reading progress, bookmarks, and annotations between your KOReader-supported e-readers and any device running the BookFusion app, so you can effortlessly manage your cross-device reading ecosystem without losing your page or highlights.
Here is my comparison of the XTEINK X3 in black and the XTEINK X4 in white. Both running CrossInk firmware.
In this video I rank my 7 most used e-ink e-readers so far in June 2026.
I have over 20 ebook readers so in this video I only rank the ones I use at the moment and also why I use them.
In this video I wanted to talk about the Bigme HiBreak Pro color again. Because it has grown on me. It’s an incredibly powerful e-ink device. I use it for reading and research. It has basically replaced the usage of my iPhone Air for most of the stuff I do. It can never be replaced in full though.
In this tutorial I show you how to sync your reading stats between your XTEINK micro e-Readers, running the latest version of CrossInk.
