Frontal hair removing
Hi everyone,
This is a bit unusual. I've always had a very pronounced V-shaped hairline which I've never liked. Over the past few years it has become slightly more noticeable due to mild androgenetic alopecia, which I'm currently treating with 5% minoxidil.
Next month I'm scheduled to undergo a rather uncommon procedure. After discussing it with my surgeon, we've agreed to remove the excess hair from the front of my hairline by extracting the follicles, with the goal of creating a more balanced and manageable hairline.
Before the procedure we'll decide whether to transplant the extracted grafts into my temples to add a bit of density, or simply discard them.
The only thing I'm still worried about is the possibility of visible scarring. The treated area will be very small, but it's also extremely exposed, and the photos of the white extraction dots I've seen online aren't exactly reassuring.
On the other hand, my surgeon has been very confident that this won't be an aesthetic issue and that the scars should be essentially unnoticeable.
What do you think? Has anyone had a similar procedure or experienced visible scarring from FUE extractions in the frontal hairline?
One final detail that may be relevant: the surgeon is considered one of the most respected and frequently recommended hair transplant surgeons in Italy.
