6+4 Embryo measuring behind?

hi guys. I had my first scan yesterday at the fertility clinic and the embryo was measuring behind. my usual doctor was on vacation so I was with another doctor.

they were only able to measure max 3.2mm and I guess they were expecting minimum of 5mm (they didn’t say but they said it’s measuring much smaller than it should be for 6+4). It was a bit hard for them to get a good look. It was a tranvaginal ultrasound. I have a tilted uterus, not sure if this makes any difference?

i definitely saw the heart flicker, the doctor just said with a little imagination they can see the heartbeat as well.

I have a checkup on Friday and I’m kind of heartbroken. Even if you can see a heartbeat clearly on Friday, I have read so many stories online where embryos were measuring behind including heartbeat but it ended in a miscarriage anyway.

they told me I’d have to stop taking progesterone if there is no progression on Friday.

any of you whose embryos were measuring behind too but ended in a viable pregnancy / your embryo catched up within a few days?

this was my third transfer and my first pregnancy. I really don’t want to go through all of this again. I only have one blastocyst left.

pregnant via IVF after 3 transfers - what now? Feeling anxious.

dear fellow friends,

after two years of infertility and 3 FET‘s, I am finally pregnant! I’m currently 4+4 and have my first ultrasound in two days in my fertility clinic. afterwards, I will switch to my gynecologist.

When I wasn’t pregnant, I felt frustrated and anxious. Now that I am pregnant, I feel a new kind of anxious!

There’s no guarantee, that all will be well, but I’m hoping that it will.

There are so many thoughts going through my mind:

-our home isn’t big enough, should we move

-I don’t want to buy a car just because we have a baby, but everyone has a car

-I just started a new job and I’m super scared to tell my employer. I will wait minimum till week 14

-I am scared of my MIL wanting to come over all the time, she can be overbearing and I can’t set boundaries with her. She already said that she’s glad we live close because she doesn’t get to see her first grand child that often (she sees him almost every month but alright)

-I don’t know when I want to share the news with family. I want to wait till week 14 minimum and then actually add 2-3 weeks on top so there won’t be so many messages coming in if the baby is coming soon

-I worry about the heat in our apartment during the summer when the baby is here

-there are so many things I want to knit and sew for the baby

-I don’t know when I’ll have more symptoms - not knowing when they’ll come stresses me out. I don’t know how to hide nausea when I’m in the office

I am not feeling happy at all. I feel stressed. How did you cope with all this? Do you guys have any tips?

I would so like to cherish this time and enjoy this time but I can’t.

400mg Cyclogest / progesterone pessaries once a day enough for modified natural FET?

hey guys. for all my frozen transfers so far I only had to take 400mg cyclogest once a day.

i heard that some say they didn’t get pregnant due to low progesterone. they only do blood work one week before transfer - that’s it.

I had a chemical after my second transfer.

next week is my third transfer.

many mg were you prescribed during your modified natural FET?

How

I have lots of Cyclogest at home and wondered if I should just take two pessaries a day

6dp5dt / 11 dpo

hey guys

this was my second transfer. on 4dp5dt (equivalent to 9dpo) I had a squinter on a cheapie (Z1 Pharma from Amazon).

still saw a vvvfl the next day.

but today 6dp5dt almost not visible.

I made a test with water to see if there are Evap Lines.

does this mean it likely was a chemical and there’s no chance of having a positive the upcoming days?

where I live they don’t do betas unless you have a positive test. I am supposed to officially test on Wednesday.

im feeling very discouraged. I’m 29, Was never pregnant ever and first time ever seeing a positive line.

What did you do differently (or not) for your successful transfer?

I am having my second FET next week. I’m rather anxious. Our fertilization and blastocyst rate was really low (27 eggs, 11 fertilized - rest of the eggs either immature or fertilized by 2 sperm or degraded)

for first FET 6 were thawed and 1 made it to blast.

for second FET they’re thawing my remaining 5 fertilized eggs.

any success stories where you didn’t change anything at all or DID change something that made you have a successful transfer?

I‘ve been doing modified natural FET with letrozole and ovidrel. progesterone suppositories (vaginal) once a day 400mg.

i decided to take baby aspirin starting now as I heard it can help with implantation.

I‘m 29 years old, husband 31 years old, unexplained infertility

Did your transfer work while having marital problems/fights?

Hey guys

just wondering if any of you weren’t vibing with your partner during transfers/FET‘s.

We’ve been having a lot of fights the past few weeks (not IVF related) and I am having my second FET next week. First one didn’t work.

I also started a new job and everytime me and my husband go through hard times or other things happen in my life that are difficult, it’s really hard for me to keep being positive. It’s like i fall into a hole. It’s like I don’t even want to eat and just go lie in bed.

just wondering if you’ve had difficulties in your life during IVF/FET‘s (with your partner) and you were in a negative headspace and your transfer still worked.

If this second transfer doesn’t work, I will have to do another round of ER.

Since we can’t get pregnant (unknown fertility issue), it feels like it’s a sign from god. Especially, when we’re fighting during this whole „trying to get pregnant“-process.

thanks for your comments in advance ☀️

FET with Letrozole - success? How many transfers until you fell pregnant?

hey guys

I’m about to do my second FET. First FET we had transfer on CD 29 because I wasn’t ovulating and we used Letrozole for quite a while to stimulate follicle growth.

Since the embryo didn’t stick, i stopped taking progesterone suppositories and had my period.

It‘s CD12 now and I had my ultrasound today. no activity whatsoever. my doctor wants me to start taking Letrozole again and come in again on Monday (CD 17). my doctor didn’t prescribe my Letrozole this cycle because he assumed my cycle would go back to normal. But there was no leading follicle.

have any of you had success with a FET while taking LETROZOLE for follicle growth? How many transfers did it take for you to get pregnant?

I get quite a few side effects from Letrozole like pain in the eye, getting easily angry and annoyed.

First FET failed. Thoughts on endometrial biopsy and DNA fragmentation?

Hey guys,

thanks for your advice in advance.

I am 29, normal AMH, husband 31, normal sperm analysis. Never once fell pregnant in 1,5 years of trying. HSG was normal too.

I had my ER last month (27 eggs, 11 fertilized). Due to OHSS I had to do an assisted natural FET the cycle after. They thawed 3 well and 3 not so well graded fertilized eggs. Only 1 made it to a beautiful blastocyst. I have 5 fertilized eggs left.

Unfortunately I had a negative pregnancy test today on 9dp5dt and was told by the clinic to quit taking progesterone suppositories. They did not do a beta blood test. They told me to check in with them again once I start my period and to do another FET.

I am a bit annoyed that we don't know the cause for our infertility. Our current clinic says, that we should do 3 transfers before even considering further diagnostics. We did the sperm analysis and HSG with a private clinic and I am thinking of doing an endometrial biopsy and to ask my husband to check for sperm DNA fragmentation. I spoke with the doctor from the private clinic and she recommends to check for endometrial plasma cells and intrauterine microbiome. (no idea what that means). The results take 2-4 weeks. It would have to be done 4 to 9 days after ovulation.

Did any of you guys found one of those two things to be the reason for your infertility?

Would you still do a transfer and do endometrial biopsy at the same time?

I stumbled across endometrial biopsy because I read about a woman in a local article, saying she pushed her clinic to do this biopsy because her embryos failed to implant. She was right in the end, took antibiotics and fell pregnant the next cycle.

Latest positive pregnancy test after FET? positive experiences

hey girls

I had my first FET (assisted natural cycle) after having my ER last month. I tested negative yesterday on 7dp5dt. I also tested negative today on 8dp5dt. I am supposed to officially test tomorrow on 9dp5dt with a HPT. I'm not sure if they will do a beta if it is negative.

Am I out? Can you guys share your late positive pregnancy test experiences please? <3

I tested with HPT's that catch 10 mIU/ml

7DPT negative test - am I out? anyone get a positive after 7DPT?

Hey girls

I had my first ever FET last Monday (5 day blastocyst) and my clinic told me to test on Wednesday (9DPT). I tested today (7DPT) and it was negative. I kind of feel heartbroken.

We don't know the reason for our infertility. I'm 29, my husband is 31. We've been trying for 1,5 years and then went down the IVF route. Stimulated quite low with Gonal F and we still retrieved 27 eggs. But only 11 were fertilized. Due to OHSS we did an FET instead of a fresh transfer.

The clinic thawed 3 good and 3 "lower" graded fertilized eggs and one egg made it to a blasto and it was well graded.

I've never seen a positive pregnancy test ever in my life and I'm on the verge of crying. I've never cried because of the infertility journey before.

Did any of you girls test positive with a 5d blastocyst after 7DPT? I need some hope!

Thank you guys <3

FET on Monday. How many transfers did it take before you got pregnant?

Hey guys,

I have my first FET on Monday and I'm feeling kinda anxious. We couldn't do fresh transfer due to OHSS. Transfer will be on CD29 (cycle after ER).

Did you guys take vaginal progesterone too? I'm having cramps from it, and I've only taken it for 3 days now. No boob pain, just cramping like I'm about to get on my period. And it hurts down there too, I got to admit. Is this normal?

May I ask how many transfers you guys had until you've fallen pregnant, what the reason for your infertility was and what your age was?

hey guys

i had my ER last month, bled 10 days after retrieval and took Letrozole 2.5mg CD 3-7.

on CD 11 I had an US, follicle was still small.

on CD 15 I had my second US, follicle didn’t seem to grow at all. But tbh, on CD11 I had another doc for the ultrasound so who knows if she saw an old follicle that was still big from the retrieval.

anyway, my doctor told me to take letrozole from CD 15-19 and I have another ultrasound on Friday (CD19). he hopes that the follicle will grow, the lining was thin too, at 6mm.

If the follicle is big enough, we’d trigger and 7 days later would be the transfer.

how many days were your guys‘ ovulation? did you take letrozole later in your cycle too? did you track your LH at home?

we actually wanted to go on vacation and doctor advised us to cancel this transfer , he thinks vacation is more important than this. but tbh, I don’t want to waste another month. we’ve been waiting so long for this and couldn’t do a fresh transfer due to risk of OHSS. also, I’m starting a new job next month and I’m so hopeful to fall pregnant this cycle so I don’t have to go to so many ultrasound appointments while being at my new job.
