The terrifying sons of the Khan - Iron Talons

The Iron Talons are White Scars successors, and one of the Astartes Praeses chapters, established to guard the frontiers of the Eye of Terror.

>They are noted as having thick, guttural accents and being of somewhat barbarous appearance due to their skin-draped power armour.

While we don't have much lore about them, I tend to see them as another side of the White Scars. While the Scars are generally portrayed as an honorable, romanticized steppe warrior, the Iron Talons seem to embrace the tactics of terror and brutality used to devastating effect by the Huns, Mongols, Timurids, and other conquering steppe nomad cultures.

Photoshop-bash for my Tau Rebel Commander idea. Could this work?

Just looking for some feedback before I decide to grab the stuff to make this.

Trying to make a homebrew character, the commander of my rebel Tau faction. Wanted her to be really rugged, with scavenged gear.

Body is the Ashwood Stranger outcast leader. His armor I think could pass for battle-damaged Tau gear already.

Legs/head/left arm from the Pathfinder Killteam box. Right hand from the Breacher team.

Hair is from the Darkstrider, but I don't know that I'll use anything else from that model, so I might try to just sculpt hair or find another source. I plan for her to count as a Darkstrider though.

I'm not sure if the proportions will be correct, so I was curious to hear from people who've done Tau/human bashes. It's a bit expensive to grab the bits, so I want to be kind of secure before I do anything haha.

My 'Master Shaper' finally finished.

One of my first kitbash projects which I put together ages ago. Happy to finally call him done, for now anyway. I didn't have an idea about what he would count as, but Ethereal seems the best fit. I'm not sure why I wanted to paint him as if he went to Morrowind and ate lord Vivec, but it just happened.

Some lore I wrote up for him:

>Tuk-ta'en has been Master Shaper of the Kra'hang as long as the T'au have been aware of them. He has led the Kindred through many arduous campaigns, and guided their evolution in, at times, unorthodox ways.

>
>Indeed, this unconventional practice can be observed in the appearance of the Master Shaper himself. His body is slightly smaller than an average Kroot, but it would be difficult to notice this due to the size of his massive membranous wings, from which sharp bones protrude. A large horn extends from his forehead, and the color of his skin is dimidiate; yellow on his right half, and a grey-blue on his left. The variation extends to his eyes as well: a yellow right, but, curiously, a bright red on the left.

>
>Among his Kin, some believe he has 'eaten of a God'.

>
>Tuk-ta'en made the decision to accompany the intial T'au expeditionary force to Fukai, and it is believed he discovered the ability to commune with the great arthropode-like creatures there. This coming is prophesied among the native Gue'la on the planet, and the 'reaching of concord' between the Kroot and natives of Fukai has taken on religious significance.

>
>He is, unsurprisingly, reclusive, or rather, he is not concerned with the opinion or understanding of outsiders, making even this much information difficult to acquire. However, I am, if nothing else, persistent.

Help me fix my icons please!

Hi guys, so I've been working for hours getting everything ironed out for my ideal mod setup, and I'm almost there, but for some reason my icons are all messed up. It seems to be from this: https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/56992?tab=description

Not really sure what happened, but even after reverting to the old icons/textures I backed up, they were still broken. It's like they are the wrong size and misaligned.

Anyone know what's causing this and how to repair it, save going back and re-doing everything?

Using MO2 and MGE XE.

Thanks in advance.

Vanilla-friendly, concept art style, enhancement mods?

Hey guys. Been doing a Buoyant Armiger playthrough, doing the Temple, Redoran, and Morag Tong quests, and have been using a lot of mods to enhance the experience. Coming back to it after a little while and wanted to add some more that give it some more 'concept art Morrowind feel if anyone has suggestions. Basically, stuff that adds more flavor to the existing world, or adds new armor, quests and locations that fit in, that kinda thing. Thanks!

Most important mods I am using to give an idea of what I'm looking for:

-Morrowind Watercolored v2

-Patch for Purists

-Bigger Velothi Temples

-Animal Behaviour / Realism

-Vurt's Groundcover

-Guareded Ghostgate

-Nevena's Twin Lamps

-Buoyant Armigers Armor

-Blight Bounties

-Bounty Hunter

-Guild of Vampire Hunters

-Pacifist Options

-Imperial Legion Expansion

-Main Quest Overhaul

-Abandoned Outpost

About to install:

-Morag Tong Polished

-Sload and Slavers

-Sloadic Transports

-Smuggler's Market

-Strider Burial

-Concept Art Dunmer Helmets (and probably some other Concept Art mods)

Thinking of making some Dorok warrior inspired minis

Had this idea after coming across these miniatures from a game called Konflict 47. Immediately thought about Doroks! Thoguht I would use the bodies from 1 kit and the heads/random pieces from the other.

I've been making some Nausicaa-inspired guys for 40k and these guys seem like they'd be perfect, but I wanted to get some input from people before I went for it.

Any other minis or something you guys know about that would work well? Or ways I could capture the aesthetic?

Lone-spear and Bug

This is my first conversion for the Kra'hang Kindred. The lore in a nutshell is that these Kroot encountered and fought a bunch of different giant bugs that appeared to be cooperating somehow, ate them, and eventually gained the ability to communicate with them and tap into their 'psychic network' for lack of a better word. Now they're best friends and do stuff like this. Basically the world of Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, but the toxic jungle is the whole planet and also there are Kroot.
