Our pets all have or came with incredibly popular names.

The Calico cat's rescue name was Callie, which is incredibly stereotypical for a calico. We named her Summer, which is still pretty common.

The polydactyl cat's name is Pawly. Polly (without the unique spelling) is a really common name for birds.

Our dog probably has one of the most common names for male pets. Max. I know sooo many Max dogs and cats!

Our shelters here generally give animals human names, so it's common to have rescues that just have human names because no one changed them.
