chemistry : organic (except hydrocarbons and goc) physical (except thermo, ionic and redox) inorganic (except p block)

physics : everything in 12th (except semiconduc + only formulae for ray and waves) and everything in 11th (except rotational, nlm, shm)

maths : sets, relations, itf, matrices, det, continuity, vectors, 3d, prob, pnc, binomial (only formulae), complex, sequences and series, stats, LPP, basic formulae of ellipse and hyperbola, quadratic eqns

band 6, is 130-140 enough?

new iat aspirant here, hi :) i really want to get into research and want to get into iisc (unrealistic, i know) but i'll be very happy with any iiser that can take me down the path of astrophysics.

i'm good in physics and chemistry mains wise, kinda suck at math but i'm building it up gradually. i'm pcm so i don't know anything about bio, so if anyone could suggest some bio chapters that are doable and have high weightage, it'd be great :)

regarding the exam level, i've heard that math and chemistry is jee mains level and physics is advanced and bio is ncert based, pls confirm if this is correct

i also want to know how much to aim for top iiser's, and what are the courses? are there any engineering degrees? i'm quite confused in that regard of what the iiser's academics are, i just know it's a good clg to go into astrophysics deeper.

next, mock resources? which is the best test series to buy or if there is any free, and are iat pyqs relevant, should i just write the pyps?

i'd really appreciate the help, kinda desperate cause if i don't get an iiser my parents are going to force me into ece/cse which i'm not really passionate about, they even declined my idea of pursuing aerospace engineering :(

got 96 in s1 with zero prep, prepared much much better now, aiming for 190-200 for mnc.
chapters i'm prepping mainly (my strong chaps + high weightage met ones)
maths :
PNC, prob, binomial, lpp, statistics, itf, trig, matrices det, vector, 3D, ellipse, hyperbola, sequences, AOI, AOD
chem:
mole, atomic, periodicity, chem bonding, chem equilibrium, redox, hydrocarbons, 12th full.
physics:
12th full, ktg, thermo, solids, fluids, thermal prop, waves, SHM, grav.

i'm missing band 7 by 2 marks :( i'm confident on getting 180-190 this session. if i get band 7, my rank shoots from 7k to 4k and i'm even able to get cse. is it possible?

how much increase are you guys expecting in ranks due to the jee seats? i don’t think it should increase as much as stated in the rank predictor cayse like i haven’t seen many people for jee counselling seriously considering met + i feel like the jee counselling inflation in ranks would be neutralised by the bhang bhosda cbse has done in osm

same as title. and if not, how much should i aim to get to secure aerospace? and how accurate is the rank predictor, do y'all really think they'll be a 4k rank jump?

my calculus is extremely weak :'( i'm not able to understand those jee level oneshots and only have ncert level knowledge from limits to differential equations. this and exemplar, is this appropriate for bitsat level?

i’m planning on giving 5, is that alright? i’m focusing more on finishing the syllabus thoroughly and the only reason i’m writing mocks is for time management purpose. is this the correct approach?
