I feel that I'm abnormally obsessed with leftism. Please hear me out.

Before, you call me insane I want you to hear me out. So, from a young age I came to know about leftism (an ideology which is based on equality and equal wealth distribution). I loved the concept and became a follower of leftism. Naturally, I supported left-wing parties. But, later I came to realize that left-wing parties are not synonymous with leftism. I've studied that the left had committed atrocities and brutalities. I don't support left-wing parties. But, still I'm a follower of democratic socialism. I love the ideology.

However, I feel that I'm quite obsessed with it. See, I receive hate for being a socialist. Though, I strongly condemn the wrongdoings of the left and I don't care about politics much but some people around me know that I'm a socialist and a left-winger. They hate me unnecessarily.

The problem is that I don't want adhere to any particular ideology. I support what's in the best interest of India and its people. That must be goal of all Indians. I support equality and equitable economic distribution at the same time giving way for democracy.

However, I feel a strange obligation to support leftism. It's completely internal. None forces me but myself. I feel ashamed of myself when someone speaks ill of the ideology. I acknowledge there is fault with leftism and also with rightism. I don't want to support any ideology blindly and evaluate critically. Yet, I feel a psychological pressure. I often hate those who speak ill of leftism. Whenever someone negatively describes me, I feel that person is against leftism. I often hate society as a whole for hating leftism.

Please help me out. I don't wanna risk myself because of this. I love all people. I don't support anyone blindly, Yet, I feel this pressure. Please Please help.

Would you trade off your freedom for comfort? Let's have a discussion

Imagine a situation in which you will be provided with comfort in life, free healthcare, love and the stuffs you like the most which maybe, a carefree situation to practise your hobbies, your favourite food items to eat, etc. etc. But, there's a catch, you'll have to obey a master/mistress. You'll have no basic freedom beyond the boundaries of your house, everything you do will require prior permission of the master/mistress and their say is final.

Would you agree to live in such a situation? If so, why? Explain the reason for your choice..

Help regarding test strategy!!

I'm a 12thie currently enrolled in PW RTS. I've found that I'm very bad at taking tests. I get serious burnouts and panic-attacks during tests to the extent that I've to stop writing and take rest. In the last mock test, I was unable to do anything for the last 30 mins and I froze...my hands were shaky, sweaty. I usually attempt P-->C--->M and this is costing my marks in maths. I'm able to solve quite tough questions at home but I'm failing badly inside the exam hall. I barely scored 25-30% in maths whenever I attempt it last. In P and C, I score fairly okayish.

Can you share your strategies that help to reduce panic-attacks during exams. Is it recommended to do Maths at first or after Physics? All are saying to do it at last but it is affecting it badly..Please help!!

How does moving charges generate magnetic field?

It is said that moving charges generate magnetic field. We've verified it through experiments. But, what is the exact mechanism for it. A possible explanation is Length contraction increasing flux density. Is there any deeper explanation? How does advanced quantum theory explains it using QFT and Lagrangian? Please explain the mechanism in non-mathematical ways, if you want.

Let's have a discussion on it.

How is the start-up culture at IISc?

Can anyone please educate me on this? Are people out there seriously interested in start-ups. Also, are the start-ups limited to BTech/MTech people or BS/MS people also do start-ups? Has anyone successfully done start-up businesses?

Which test series: PW RTS and AITS vs Mathongo Quizrr?

Which one to take and when to take? PW RTS is offline; but I heard it is irrelevantly tough. On the other hand, Mathongo Quizzr is online only but highly recommended by many!

Both are very costly! So which one should I consider?

Gauss Law: If charge-density and/or electric permittivity in Gauss Law is not constant

https://preview.redd.it/1d2zt8xrpe3h1.png?width=484&format=png&auto=webp&s=0555002c0943cd5d0be35cef4dfba2d26e2b24b1

How to do the calculations if charge-density and/or electric permittivity in Gauss Law is not constant?

Do we need to consider their immediate value at the boundary of the Gaussian surface? Or, is there anything deeper in it?

In our course, we don't have vector calculus, only simple illustrations on Gauss Law. So, please forgive, if this question is silly...
