Calling all girls who went to university/college!
I have taken a leap after struggling in a toxic job for five years. I signed up for a course!
Emergency medical responder course (canada).
It took forever but I saved up the two grand, plus some extra to take a whole month off at my job so I could completely focus on this course. I am counting on it to get out of my current job. its a Monday-friday 9-5 course, with the first half online and the last half in person with SO many exams and tests and practical tests.
I am NOT a school person. I failed every course in high school at least once and have yet to finish high school in general (At least I only have math 11 left?).
Point is, I have no idea what Im walking into or how to prepare. I dont even know how to study. Just read the text book and take notes? I imagine the online portion will walk me through it.
I went to the dollar store, and bought Pens, pencils, highlighters, index cards, a binder and two notebooks, sticky tabs for my text book. I think those are all the essentials.
Im so nervous.
Do any of you girls that have gone to school have any advice or tips for me? Any life saving life hacks or rituals/routines/self care you guys have while in school? I really, really want to make the most of this. And I cant afford to fail.
And a side request, any girls in a medic/first responder job that have any specific recommendations for resources for this course?
Thank you guys so much
